Simple Chat Emojis

A simple, configurable, and client-side only solution for chat emojis.

Comes with a built-in (optional) emoji pack with some funky Discord emojis.

Custom emojis can be added via resource pack by adding images in assets/(your namespace)/textures/simple-chat-emojis.
Ex. trollswagcat.png -> :trollswagcat:

If the client is chatting with another player who doesn't have this mod installed, it will look like regular text to them.

Known issues:

• Emoji transparency oopsie when chat is fading
• Text size calculation doesn't take emojis into account, big messages might cut through an emoji or two.
