He can't see you, but he can hear you, and yearns for your flesh. This mod features a creature that will spawn in the caves, he will repeat your friend's voice to try to confuse you and make you think its your friends. TRY NOT TO SPEAK NEAR HIM!

FAQ

Does this mod use AI?

No, it is using a very simple filter to try and only record sentences. Turning on noise suppression is recommended.

Can I play this mod in singleplayer?

Yes, but the mod was made with multiplayer in mind.

Does this mod store my voice?

Yes. Voice clips are stored in memory while in game, and when you leave it stores them on the Server Host's drive. If you'd prefer your voice to be deleted once you leave the server, turn on "Privacy Mode" on the mod's client settings.

Why am I not seeing any Entities?

This mod is not trying to be in your face all the time. The spawn rates are configurable if you'd like to tweak your gameplay.

Revervox Voice Box

When used, repeats a random sound from a random player. Crafted with 2 Revervox Ears on the side (obtained from killing revervox) and a jukebox in the middle.

Revervox Sword

Revervox Sword

Does extra damage to Revervox's entities. Crafted in the smithing table with a Revervox Voice Box as a template, a diamond sword and a Revervox Bat Tooth (obtained from taking damage from Revervox Bat).

  • There are now advancements for doing various things and crafting various items
  • Added the Megaphone item, amplifying your voice and stunning Revervox with its sonic boom
  • Added Revervox Bait which you can throw, making Revervox follow to wherever it lands to eat it
  • Revervox can now do a sonic boom to attack you

Changes:

  • Revervox no longer breaks strong blocks such as obsidian
  • Revervox can now hear you through walls
  • Revervox now will go towards spider eyes, fermented or not, dropped on the floor to eat them

  • Reworks block breaking: now Revervox only breaks blocks below sea level, and has a cooldown when above deepslate level, unless the block is not solid or leaves, in which case it is always broken. This can still be disabled in the configs.
  • Hopefully fixes some crashes caused by excessive creation of audio channels
  • The random event is now only seen by the targeted player
