Reinforced Construction adds +70 new Blast Resistance blocks to Minecraft using a new Obsidian Block.

Recommended if you have a very hostile world and don't want to protect your base using vanilla obsidian only.

How to obtain the new blocks:

  • You have to smelt an Obsidian block to obtain the new block Smooth Obsidian.
  • The Smooth Obsidian is used in most of the recipes from this mod, such as new Obsidian Blocks or Reinforced Blocks.
  • You can make new Blast Resistance Glass by smelting the Smooth Obsidian to obtain Crystallized Obsidian.

Extra Info:

  • Some types of block have their unique Hardness and Resistance value.
  • All blocks are EnderDragon immune.
  • Reinforced Netherite Blocks are WitherProof.
  • Reinforced Gold Blocks are Piston Pushable.
  • You have to use a LOT of obsidian blocks.

Fusion is REQUIRED. (from v1.0.1)

Available versions: 1.20.1

Tested using: forge-47.3.29 (the mod should be fine in any forge version).

You can use Reinforced Construction in your Modpack ^^

  • Added Crystalized Obsidian Stairs and Slab.

  • Added new Stained Hardened Glass blocks and panes.

  • Removed Crystallized Obsidian Pane. (Crystallized Obsidian has been rethought and this will be the only time I remove a block).

  • Reworked Hardened Glass and Crystalized Obsidian textures.

  • Changed Hardened Glass place sound.

  • Nerfed Hardened Glass Pane crafting recipe. (Now you obtain 8 Hardened Glass pane instead of 16).

  • Nerfed Hardened Glass break system. (Now you need to break a hardened glass with a silk touch pickaxe to obtain the block).
