Note: This mod is currently in beta. Additions may be limited for certain mods. (eg very few mobs for Hostile Neural Networks compat) Some features may also only be partially complete.

Are you tired of having to install 7 different datapacks packaged as mods just so you can strip all the wood in your modpack using Farmer's Delight? Do you wish you could use Mekanism with more modded ores? Do you want to use ProjectE without having to manually set the EMC values for every item a mod adds because it doesn't use vanilla crafting? Well, you're in luck!

This mod adds integration between multiple Minecraft mods mostly in the form of recipes, for example the Immersive Engineering Metal Press for rods from Modern Industrialization and Gregtech, or Ars Nouveau manipulation essence for various modded stone types. It's basically just a datapack with load conditions so only one file is needed for any combination of mods. Currently the mod is at over 3,700 recipes and growing!

Only the recipes for the mods installed will be loaded, so there won't be any broken or empty recipes.

Note that each addition may not be included with every mod combination, but I intend to add as much cross-compatability as possible.

I will also try to retain compatability with as many of the mods as possible, but due to the large number of mods, substantial updates to those mods may break compatability. If this happens, feel free to make a bug report and I will fix it.

For now, all recipes are in the data folder of the mod, and can thus be changed with KubeJS or similar tools. Config options are coming in the next update though.

This mod shouldn't hurt performance any more than just using a few more kilo/megabytes of RAM, as any mod/datapack does anyway, since it doesn't add any functions or anything similar - just recipes (and tags and data maps and whatever else).

Support for some mods here may be dependent on the mods updating and/or being able to add custom recipes using the mod's features. At the time of writing this, Valkyrien Skies has not updated to 1.21+ yet, and there are plenty of Create addons that haven't updated to 1.21+

Additionally, I am currently reworking the mod to be much easier to add new recipes. I might make a separate mod for features that don't follow an exact pattern, like ProjectE world transmutations, Hostile Neural Networks data models, and some of these planned features, like Apotheosis gems or Oritech augmentations using modded attributes (like Iron's Spells & Spellbooks or Ars Nouveau spell power

What versions are supported?

Currently Neoforge 1.21 and above, but for best results, you should use 1.21.4 and above. Please don't report any bugs about recipes being incorrectly loaded if this only happens on versions before 1.21.4. >99% of features/recipes should be fine though, and this could only ever happen with specific mod combinations and mods that don't use tags correctly.

Server or client?

The majority of stuff is server-side, but it can be installed on either. Currently, the only client-side feature is for Hostile Neural Networks compat (the language files for mob descriptions, which it will work without), which is currently EXTREMELY incomplete. I plan to eventually add Xaero's and Journeymap compat for some modded mobs though.

What's the difference between this, AlmostUnified, JAOPCA, or ProjectE integration?

AlmostUnified merges recipes where there are the same type of material. For example, if mod 1 adds tin plates made with machine 1, and mod 2 adds tin plates made with machine 2, AlmostUnified merges those to only use one of the items that can be made from either machine. However, if mod 2 also adds lead plates made with machine 2, you will not be able to use machine 1 to make lead plates. This mod fixes that problem by adding as much cross-compatability as possible. I recommend installing AlmostUnified along with this mod since I have excluded recipes for materials if they already exist in a mod.

JAOPCA does a better job at unifying ore processing than this mod, since it adds new items for each material (clumps, shards, dust, etc) so it can add more features than this mod and each ore can be used everywhere. It only focuses on ore unification though, and this mod also adds recipes for wood types with various sawmills, as well as plenty of other features. I plan on adding full JAOPCA compatability in the future. Currently if you install JAOPCA alongside this mod, there'll be duplicate recipes, possibly with different ratios, but they'll both work.

ProjectE Integration is fairly obvious in that it only focuses on ProjectE, however it does a better job at it than this mod does, since it reads every recipe whilst this mod is just a datapack configured with the default recipe ratios. It is required on both the server and client, so updating the server-side mod would require updating the client-side mod as well (most likely. I haven't tested how it behaves with different versions of the mod)

I am currently reworking the entire mod and this info will change. I will be removing ProjectE custom conversions (keeping world transmutations though) and adding more JAOPCA support.

Any chance of a fabric port?

I am currently rewriting the entire mod and will support fabric upon full release.

Can I disable any recipes?

You should be able to overwrite any changes including recipes with datapacks/mods/kubejs/etc, but there are currently no config options. That is coming when I am done rewriting the mod.

Can I use this in a modpack?

Yes! Preferably distributed in a format where the mod is downloaded from the modrinth website on each install, such as .mrpack, but this isn't strictly necessary if you really need to.

Does this add any new items?

Currently, no. I plan on keeping it this way. If I do decide on adding items, it would likely be in a separate mod.

Can I fork this and publish it?

Only if it is to a different modloader such as forge, fabric, or quilt. I will try my best to keep this updated and maintained, which should be fairly simple with the current features. I will support some fabric mods through Sinytra, but Sinytra does crash with some mod combinations so feel free to make a fabric port. For more info, read the license on the github.

I am currently reworking the entire mod.

I have switched to using Architectury Loom, which means that the new mod will have a native Fabric/Quilt version, as well as Neoforge. Versions below 1.21 are coming after release.

Additionally, I am moving away from Github and onto Codeberg.

Known Bugs:

Load conditions for tags don't seem to be working (randomium blacklist, projecte ignore missing emc). This means the tags will be loaded even if the respective mod isn't. This won't cause any issues other than unnecessary bloat in the tags. (check this with new mod jar)

Info about next version

I am going to rewrite the mod to use datagen for the next major update. This will make adding compat much easier in the future, since it is starting to get a bit tedious, but it would likely take a while to set up.

Once the mod is set up, I would be able to add support for many more mods, since adding them would be much faster, since I would only have to add a single mod ID and material name in the right place, like "phantasm" and "pream" and it would do all the wood recipes for End's Phantasm.

However, I might deprecate some mods/features to refine the scope of this mod and improve compatability. Most notably ProjectE custom conversions. I will still add world transmutations, but ProjectE Integration does a better job at handling the EMC values.

Ore processing will also become a lower priority since JAOPCA does a better job at handling that. I will still add some recipes (with the appropriate load conditions from the beginning) and a few that aren't handled by JAOPCA like drilling for ores with Modern Industrialization, which will be a bit more of a stylized tweak.

Basically, don't expect any major updates soon. There won't be an ETA. It could be a month or it could be a year. The mod is currently set up to work on any Minecraft version above 1.21, so unless there are any breaking changes, all I need to do is update the version on Modrinth for it to show for new versions, but it'll work anyway if you install the mod manually.

There will still be a few smaller changes and additions to the current mod whilst the rewrite is in development, but not any big new features. I will primarily be focusing on a few select mods. The one thing that I might add is tags for the sulfur cube.

I will likely make the mod using something like Architectury so it's available natively on forge, neoforge, fabric and quilt. There might also be versions below 1.21 (like 1.20.1). Still unlikely, but much more likely than before.

Why did I remove Productive Trees and Allthemodium support?

TW: suicide

The creator of Productive Trees and one of the developers for AllTheMods packs, LobsterJonn, made a mod called "It's A Kid's Game", which "Removes gender related content from other mods". He has since deleted it, but let me give some info about why this is homophobic if you're confused.

  • LGBTQ+ youth are more than four times as likely to attempt suicide
  • 39% of LGBTQ+ young people seriously considered attempting suicide in the past year, including roughly half of transgender and nonbinary youth.
  • The Trevor Project estimates that more than 1.8 million LGBTQ+ young people (ages 13-24) seriously consider suicide each year in the U.S. — and at least one attempts suicide every 45 seconds.
  • Transgender and nonbinary youth are 2 to 2.5 times as likely to experience depressive symptoms, seriously consider suicide, and attempt suicide compared to their cisgender LGBQ peers, who are ALREADY at a much higher risk.

These people are questioning their entire identity and existence. When everyone on the news claims that they're perverts for simply existing, or that they're unnatural, or that they're delusional, the causes are obvious.

Preventing children from seeing anything gender-related and looking into it and possibly finding an explanation as to why they feel so different only worsens the issue.

Put simply (and somewhat harshly, but still realistic): LobsterJonn is contributing to killing a demographic of children.

I will not support homophobia or transphobia. I will not endorse it. I will not even stand idle. I did not realise it was LobsterJonn who made the mod.

Will this even do anything?

Unlikely. My mod has 7k downloads, and I doubt many people are even reading this. But if everyone has the mentality of "I'm just one person. How can I change anything?", then nothing will be done. Collective action works. Boycotts work.

You can share the statistics. You can spread awareness. You can donate to charities like the Trevor Project that helps LGBTQ+ youth. And you can openly express your support so that if someone you know is questioning their identity, they feel safe to talk about it.

Since the last update, I have fixed the links to the github on the Modrinth page so feel free to make mod recommendations!

In the next update I'm probably going to add MI unpacker recipes and add some more various mod compatability for the packer and unpacker. Possibly some Oritech. Might also add load conditions to not load some recipes with JAOPCA. Also I might tweak some macerating yields for some ores to be the same as in JAOPCA. Full JAOPCA support will be implemented before 1.0 release, but there will be a few more beta versions first.

Notes

Versioning whilst in beta will now be 0.x rather than 0.1.x, with the third number being for minor fixes if there are any broken or missing recipes that either I notice or that are reported as an issue on the github.

The next update might not be for a while with uni starting. Feel free to make suggestions for which mods I should add compat for by making an issue on the github and I will prioritise those.

New recipe types

  • Added Modern Industrialization macerator recipes (currently: Create, Lands Of Icaria, Occultism)
  • Added Immersive Engineering arc furnace recipes (raw block to ingot and ore to ingot). I have only included metal ingots, since the default recipes exclude non-metals. Supported mods: Advent Of Ascension, DivineRPG, GTCEu, Modern Industrialization, Occultism, The Undergarden (uses tags)
  • Added Occultism crushing recipes. Currently only raw to dust. Ratios for Gregtech ores are based on the macerator, otherwise 1 raw : 2 dust
  • Added Energized Power filtration plant recipes (Create, Immersive Engineering, Mekanism, Occultism (no Iesnium - intentional))
  • Added Modern Industrialization cutting machine recipes for logs -> planks. Currently: Biomes O Plenty, Deeper And Darker, Eternal Starlight, Evilcraft, GTCEu, Integrated Dynamics, Occultism, Oh The Biomes We've Gone, Regions Unexplored, The Undergarden
  • Added Modern Industrialization packer recipes (currently only for The Undergarden)

Notes

As mentioned in the previous changelog, some Industrial Upgrade recipes have been fixed with the tags, but not all tags have been implemented yet.

Plates

  • Added plates to Immersive Engineering Metal Press. Uses tags. Supported mods: Energized Power, GTCEu Modern, Industrial Upgrade (currently only partially), Modern Industrialization, Useful Foundation. The iridium plate recipe won't load with Modern Industrialization installed in an attempt to not break progression. Some plates from Industrial Upgrade won't have the recipe just yet until I sort out the tags, since I would rather make the tags consistent first then use those rather than use inconsistent tags (different spellings for aluminum/aluminium), and no underscores in the tags making them difficult to read. This will also make it more compatible with other mods. This will likely be fixed in the next version.
  • Fixed Create pressing some Industrial Upgrade plates and added missing ones. Some recipes won't work until tags are resolved (see above)

Misc

  • Added some more ores to the Integrated Dynamics Squeezer that were already in the Mechanical Squeezer recipes
  • Added a few more Tough As Nails tags
  • Tweaked loading conditions for some tags to be more consistent
  • Added EMC values for some ingots and dusts
  • Added some EMC values for Industrial Upgrade. Changed tag names to be more readable (see above). Will break some EMC until tags are fixed.
  • Added some tags for resolving aluminium/aluminum (see above)
