This is a quick patch before 1.2.0 update (TBN)

The previous release was just the walkie-talkie and a small popup with a text field and a button. This update adds a full placeable Radio Station system, a rebuilt interface, a radio voice effect, and Sable support.

Added

Radio Station

• New placeable block with its own frequency dial and module slots
• Microphone Module - the station picks up players speaking near it and transmits them onto its frequency, so you can talk into a station without holding a walkie-talkie
• Speaker Module - the station plays everything on its frequency out loud to anyone nearby
• Each module has its own switch, so a station can be a receiver, a transmitter, or both
• Microphone pickup range is configurable and defaults to 5 blocks

Radio voice effect

• Anything heard through a walkie-talkie or a Radio Station now gets an authentic radio filter, applied on the listener's side, so normal proximity chat is never affected
• If pv-voice-changer is installed, its Radio preset is used directly. Otherwise a built-in equivalent is used. Toggle it in Plasmo Voice -> Addons -> Walkie Talkie

Sable support

• Radio Stations placed on sub-levels (cars, ships, airships, NOT default create contraptions) now work correctly, with their audio position tracked as the object moves

Configuration

• New config file at config/walkietalkie.toml, also editable in-game from Mods -> pv-addon-walkietalkie -> Config
• Tunable frequency range, station microphone range, radio effect mode, and an option to hide the Plasmo Voice icon that floats above an active station

Interface and audio

• Rebuilt radio interface with a frequency slider, fine-tuning arrows and module slots, now part of your inventory screen instead of a separate popup
• Radio static now plays on your frequency while someone is transmitting
• Per-player SFX volume slider in Plasmo Voice -> Addons -> Walkie Talkie
• Spanish, Kazakh and Ukrainian translations

Fixed

• Players being unable to speak without Operator perms. Should be gone

Changed

• Shift + Right Click on a walkie-talkie now opens the full radio interface (currently reuses radio station gui texture)

Notes

• pv-voice-changer and Sable are both optional. They are detected automatically and nothing breaks if they are absent

Changes

• Added SFX when walkie-talkie is toggled
• Added visual changes to activated walkie-talkie (lights on, antenna out etc)
• Added custom Plasmo Voice interface icon for the addon

Fixes

• Fixed Activation type being automatically set to Push-to-talk by default and interrupting proper use of the mod, now it works fine!

• Changed crafting recipe (top-center iron ingot was swapped to note block, that makes more sense)
• Added 2D slot icon for walkie-talkie so it's more harmonizing with vanilla
• Changed Walkie-Talkie name to Analog Walkie-Talkie
• Added ru_ru translation
