🏃 Parkour — Build, Run, Compete

Give your players the tools to build their own parkour courses, then race through each other's creations.

The BentoBox Parkour addon turns every player's island into a potential parkour course. Players design courses on their island, set start and end points, and other players can warp in to attempt them. Timed runs and leaderboards create natural competition.

🎮 How It Works

  • 🏗️ Build courses — design parkour on your island using any blocks
  • 🏁 Set waypoints — mark start, checkpoints, and end points
  • ⏱️ Timed runs — automatic timing from start to finish
  • 🏆 Leaderboards — compete for the fastest time on each course

📦 Installation

Requires BentoBox on a Paper server.

  1. Install BentoBox
  2. Place Parkour.jar into plugins/BentoBox/addons/
  3. Restart
  4. /pk to start playing

Upgrading

  1. Make sure you are running MC 1.21.x
  2. Stop the server. Make a backup just in case.
  3. Copy this jar over the old one
  4. Restart the server
  5. You should be good to go!

Update 1.3.0

This update adds a number of improvements and bug fixes. There are two new commands: /pk quit and /pk warp that enable course runners manage their runs better. Players and visitors are handled better for Creative mode and Survival mode settings and there is a new handy island setting flag that enables island owners to decide which ranks go into creative mode. Visitors always stay in survival.

Important Upgrade Note

🔺This release fixes perms for the commands. Previously, they started with parkour.parkour but now they just start with parkour. For player commands, they will be granted automatically, but admin/mod commands may require permissions to be adjusted. The list of perms can be found in the addons.yml file or by running /bbox perms in the console.
