Not Lazy Chainmail is here to remedy the problem with most mods regarding chainmail -- the crafting table! No more putting chains, chainmail sheets, chainmail pads, or other items in the shape of armor. Instead, you can manually create wire, wind it up, snip the chains, and then add each chain to the final project just like real chainmail! Alongside a revamp of how chainmail armor is created, it also adds a wide variety of other chain-adjacent tools, armor, blocks, and more!

This mod requires Curios API. It is recommended to use Just Enough Items (JEI) alongside Not Lazy Chainmail for the best experience.
New Chainmail Armor
Chainmail is currently only made of iron in most mods. Why not expand out to other metals? Introducing Gold, Copper, Netherite, Rose Gold, and Iron Composite Chainmail Armor sets! Each set has different use cases, especially when paired with Curios.
Leathersmithing
With the introduced Leathersmithing system, Shields and Chainmail Armor can be buffed with thousands of combinations of Leather Paddings. These paddings can buff normal armor stats such as Toughness and Knockback Resistance, but others can increase Health, repair your armor in the sun, and if you're not careful, even make you float away!
Building Blocks
Let out your inner builder with more blocks based on and created with chains, including Ornate Glass, Chain Link Fences, and new Chain variants!
Tools & Weapons
There are now unique tools and weapons that can be created through making chainmail!
Whips - Faster cooldown, less damage, unique enchantments
Flails - Slower cooldown, more damage, unique enchantments
Nunchucks - A high-speed close-range weapon with unique enchantments
Lassos - Used to slow down enemies, unique enchantments
Ropes - Creates a scalable rope to go up and down with ease
Chain Launcher - Fling yourself high into the air
Chainsaw - Cleave through trees with ease!
Chainsword - Maul through enemies with a souped-up sword!
Curios
Various wearable Curios can be created through chainmail out of the materials, including Bracelets, Necklaces, Gloves, and Belts! They each give unique effects, with some of them boosted when worn with their respective armor sets! Maybe you construct a build where you generate lightning to strike down foes and heal yourself, or perhaps turn yourself into a cactus that is powered by advancement progress... You decide!
Automation
Not even a small blurb can describe the various automation blocks and features added. Create simple or complex systems to construct chainmail, sort and store items, and even generate and process various resources!

New Block
Experience Accumulator
It can take in Experience Orbs and can be used to get EXP, fill Bottles, and repair items with Mending.
New Advancements

Updated Textures
New Crude Engine, Chainsaw, and Chainsword textures.
Belt Generator has a new animated texture and is dynamic to its belt.
Sieve Dropper/Auto Mailler now has a dynamic texture for its inserted Sieve Mesh/Chainmail Project.
Updated Recipes
Crude Engine now requires a piston, craftable belt, and empty spool.
Belt Generator now requires 6 stone, 2 iron ingots, and 1 crude engine.
Updated Mechanics
Pliers no longer take damage while picking up blocks.
Blocks picked up by pliers will instantly be added to the inventory when possible.
Removed cooldown for rotating blocks.
Non-chain blocks require Manipulating to rotate.
Swapped picking up blocks and rotating blocks when sneaking.
Material Spool Blocks and Chains can now be rotated.
Made Reversed and Manipulating no longer mutually exclusive.
Hopper Droppers will not drop items when redstone powered.
Applying Automated Permanence to an item will fully repair it.
Cobblestone Is Everything advancement now only requires the player to obtain all Cobblefiers.
Ropes now have a tooltip and can be picked up with an empty hand/rope.
Ropes can no longer connect to another rope to be "anchored".
Ropes will now extend into water.
Other Fixes
Fixed Nethender Portal advancement text.
Fixed some Spool Blocks being unable to be picked up by Manipulating.
Fixed Rune Scraper not burning in fire/lava.
Fixed the Iron Composite Chainmail Bracelet showing double the given hunger.
Fixed the plural form of the Iron Composite Chainmail Belt's tooltip appearing regardless of break rate.
Added descriptions for Bleeding/Trailing for compatibility.
Pliers and Sieve Meshes now make a breaking sound when fully used up.
Iron Composite armor will no longer randomly apply Armor Toughness on upgrade.
Fixed Chain bounding boxes.

Changes
- Snipping and sieving will no longer have chance-based durability loss
- Maille Crafting will no longer have chance-based exhaustion
- Winding now requires at least 1 shank of hunger and increases exhaustion while winding
- Pliers now have 640 durability from 64 (now each snip takes 1 durability)
- Sieve meshes now have 192 durability from 64 (new each sieve takes 1 durability)
- When swapping a Cobblefier into a Cobblestone Generator, it will only take one instead of the entire stack
- Item Aggregator is now 4x as fast
- Belt Generators and Chain Generators can now be set to output their power to adjacent blocks at a rate of 64 FE/t and 1,000 FE/t, respectively
- Belt Generators are now crafted with a Block of Iron and 2 Empty Spools instead of 2 Iron Ingots
- Fixed improper title in Telebelt menu
- Advancement Nethender Portal now uses the Telebelt as its icon

Additions New Telebelt, which will take the properties of the Iron Composite Chainmail Belt New Chain Covers that can be applied to Chainmail Armor in the Leathersmithing Table to get additional material types for curio buffs

Chain Launchers can now be made out of different materials. Coil textures will now dynamically change based on the number of remaining links. Fixed a major bug causing the Chainmail Project to not detect chain links. (1.2.1 on CurseForge)
