Welcome to Nimbu's: Scabbards - a mod intended to add vanilla friendly dyeable scabbards to hold your sword.

Swords can be drawn (and sheathed) at any time with the R key, and will move your current held item elsewhere in your inventory, allowing for easy item management.

Scabbards are crafted with three leather and one string:

Hip Scabbard:

Displays on the hip instead of the back:

Dyeing:

Scabbards can be dyed the same way that leather armour can. Just add any amount of dye with the scabbard in a crafting table.

Weapon Holster:

The weapon holster is a small strap of leather designed to store tools of any size - not simply limited to carrying swords! Crafted with one leather and two string. Weapon holster crafting recipe

Removed big scabbard as it felt unnecessary, and often wasn't compatible with mods adding larger swords anyway. If it does happen to fit your sword mod perfectly, feel free to download the previous version of the mod.

Tweaked scabbard position.

Added big scabbards to store larger swords (massive swords should still make use of the weapon holster).

Items inside scabbards now still run their tick event (let me know if that's a terrible idea).
