this pack lets you put a block in a cart! it's very simple, too. simply name a minecart with chest "Minecart with Block" or "Block Minecart" (case-sensitive). the first item in the minecart's inventory (from left to right, top to bottom) will display in the cart. put a non-block item in the first slot and it will turn back into a chest.

naming a cart "Reverse Minecart with Block", "Reverse Block Minecart", "Minecart with Last Block", or "Last Block Minecart" (case-sensitive) will use the last item in the chest's inventory instead. perfect for shift-clicking blocks in!

naming a cart "Minecart with Light Block" or "Light Block Minecart" will cause the block inside to light up when on a powered activator rail, if it can!

some items have interesting details to them!

all pumpkin blocks will turn into jack o'lanterns upon activation
flint and steel and fire charges will make fires (works with regular block carts too!)
ender pearls and eyes of ender will make end portal frames, with an eye appearing upon activation (also works with regular block carts!)

regular carts, reverse carts, and light carts can all have a direction for the block inside specified! this is done by putting the direction before "Block" in the name. possible directions are "Left", "Right", and "Back". (for example, "Minecart with Light Left Block" will cause the block inside to light up, and look to the left*! (* minecart block directions are fuhreaky. sorry.)

nearly every block can show up. not just full blocks! experiment and see what you can do with this all new way of decorating!

this pack also supports reskinning chest and furnace minecarts. renaming them "Minecart with " or " Minecart" will reskin them to look like other blocks! (e.g. renaming a furnace minecart to "Minecart with Smoker" will make a smoker show up!) this feature is incompatible with the Minecart with Block functionality, and only works with the blocks in the following list.

additions

light carts!
- these carts act similarly to block carts, except their block will now turn on when on a powered activator rail
- many blocks work, not just ones with a "lit" block state
  - states referenced are "lit", "powered", "open", "sculk_sensor_phase", and "creaking_heart_state"
- no reverse variant; these are intended for buildstone, not for storage use
- have direction variants
direction carts!
- these rotate the block in the direction specified (possible options are left, right, and back)
- have reverse variants
block carts can now have crops in them, by putting their seed in!
- will display as their fully grown form
fire can now be put into carts, both as furnace minecarts (renaming them to "Minecart with Fire" or "Minecart with Soul Fire"), and as block carts, by putting a fire charge or flint and steel into the applicable slot

changes

all blocks that can go on walls and floors (e.g. levers) will now display as their floor variant
all blocks with all six directions (e.g. end rods) will now display as up, unless put in a direction cart

Block Minecarts will now display as empty when the inventory is completely empty. Items will still make a chest appear, however.

A whole bunch of additions!

Added Reverse Block Minecarts
- Act as the reverse of the standard Minecarts with Blocks. The last slot will be used as the display. Shift-clicking items in will change the appearance! fun!
Added Furnace Minecart reskins
- Furnace Minecarts can now take on the appearance of various smelting blocks!
Added Chest Minecart Reskins
- Chest Minecarts can now take on the appearance of the other chest blocks! Incompatible with Block Minecart functionality.
Block Minecarts now work with block states. Pretty much only works in vanilla survival with bee nests and hives, but it's fun.
