Menagerie: Earth Mob Variants and More!

ATTENTION: This data pack also needs to be installed as a resource pack to work properly! The same file works as both.

Have you ever wanted the mob variants from games such as Minecraft Earth on Java edition? Well, Menagerie is here to appease your zoological worries!

Menagerie uses Minecraft's data-driven systems to add new mob variants to your game, straight from other games from the franchise, as well as from its past. Most variants replace spawns in their respective biomes, some of them add new spawns of familiar mobs to brand new biomes!

The following variants are added by Menagerie:

Mottled Pig (Minecraft Earth) - A wild brown pig, found in Forests.

Piebald Pig (Minecraft Earth) - An attention-grabbing pig, found in Birch Forests.

Sooty Pig (Minecraft Earth) - A dark striped pig, found in Dark Forests.

Pink Footed Pig (Minecraft Earth) - A dual colored pig, found in all forest biomes (Forests, Birch Forests and Dark Forests).

Pale Pig (Minecraft Earth) (New Spawn!) - A slighly paler pig, found alone in Snowy Plains.

Spotted Pig (Minecraft Earth) - A pink pig full of spots, found in Swamps.

Muddy Pig (Minecraft Earth) (New Spawn!) - The classic muddy hog with a new coat of paint, found in Mangrove Swamps.

Roan Wolf (Minecraft) (New Spawn!) - A very old wolf, found in Snowy Plains. It is based on the oldest wolf development screenshot, taken in the middle of changing its color.

Tuxedo Wolf (Minecraft: Story Mode) (New Spawn!) - A black and white wolf, found in Dark Forests. It is based on the "dog" variant that is solely represented by Blocco in Minecraft: Story Mode.

Gray Tabby Cat (Minecraft / Minecraft Dungeons) - A charming gray cat, found in Villages. It is an unused cat from vanilla and a pet in Minecraft Dungeons.

Ashen Cow (Minecraft Earth) - An ash-colored cow with splayed horns, found in Forests and Dark Forests.

Cookie Cow (Minecraft Earth) - A hornless cow with an iconic white stripe, found in Forests and Birch Forests.

Cream Cow (Minecraft Earth) - A yellowish cow with an forward-pointing horns, found in Jungles.

Dairy Cow (Minecraft Earth) - A classic cow with a black and white coat, found in Swamps.

Pinto Cow (Minecraft Earth) - A spotted cow with long horns, found in Savannas and in Windswept Savannas, sharing the latter with Warm Cows.

Sunset Cow (Minecraft Earth) (New Spawn!) - An attention-grabbing orange cow with long horns, found alone in Cherry Groves.

Wooly Cow (Minecraft Earth) - A beloved and fluffy cow with forward-pointing horns, found in hilly and mountainous regions.

Albino Cow (Minecraft Earth) - An enchanting white cow, found during full moons.

Umbra Cow (Minecraft Earth) - A mysterious black cow, found during new moons.

Amber Chicken (Minecraft Earth) - A red and orange chicken that lays Orange Eggs, found in Forests.

Bronzed Chicken (Minecraft Earth) - A junglefowl-looking chicken that lays Red Eggs, found in Jungles.

Fancy Chicken (Minecraft Earth) - A really fancy and colorful chicken that lays Lime Eggs, found in Flower Forests.

Gold Crested Chicken (Minecraft Earth) (New Spawn!) - A shiny chicken that lays Yellow Eggs, found uncommonly in Meadows and Cherry Groves.

Skewbald Chicken (Minecraft Earth) - A white-headed black chicken that lays Pink Eggs, found in Dark Forests.

Stormy Chicken (Minecraft Earth) - A black-headed white chicken that lays Gray Eggs, found in Birch Forests.

Midnight Chicken (Minecraft Earth) - A sneaky black chicken that lays Black Eggs, found during new moons.
