mediatransport is an addon to Hex Casting and Figura (and optionally MoreIotas or Hexpose) that enables communication between hexes and avatars.

Warning!

This addon (and FSB in general) only works on dedicated servers (not singleplayer or Open to LAN.) Because Modrinth doesn't have a way to indicate "client + dedicated server only", this project is marked as "client & server".

Setup

This addon relies on Figura Server Backend, which is currently only available in development versions of Figura. You can get your hands on a build directly from their GitHub Actions (note: requires login to GitHub.)

You'll need to install Figura, Hex, and mediatransport on the server.

  • Fixed a bug where Accept Iota just straight up wouldn't work if nobody had used Submit Iota (or its variants) at all since the server started
  • Changed the default configuration to block hexcasting:list from being sent from Figura to Hex (balance)
