This little PaperMC plugin adds corpses to the game, for those who have died. It uses the Mannequin entity to display a body, and it works very well! Those will persist between server restarts or world changes.

You can change its pose, how it looks upon spawned, how it can be interacted and for how long it can exist! Keep in mind that it's always good to set a viable lifespan.

Cool note! They can keep hold of the dropped items.

  • Fix "pop" item treatment mode not working
  • The corpse's skin can now be changed in config.yml (Using a player's name, a player's uuid, a skin raw texture or blank for the perished player's skin)
  • Added Experience Treatment
  • Added "onlyAcceptEntityDamage" (Makes the corpse invulnerable to damage that doesn't come from entities)
  • The reload command no longer rolls back the config.yml file to its previous values
