Mace Roulette Companion logo

Minecraft mod that adds a few quality of life features to Mace Roulette. Depends on Fabric API, Fabric Language Kotlin, YetAnotherConfigLib, and Flint.

Features

  • AutoGG
    Automatically sends a message at the end of a game. Including "gg" or "good game" will give you five extra stars each game.
  • AutoGL
    Automatically sends a message at the start of a game. Including "gl", "hf", "good luck", or "have fun" will give you five extra stars each game.
  • Round Info HUD
    Places information about the current round (such as how long the game has been going for, the amount of players alive, and the active modifiers) on the HUD.
  • Toasts
    Displays notifications such as bounties, events, and players joining as toasts.

Planned Features

  • AutoBet
    Automatically bets on a player during Mace Showdown. This player can be decided based on their amount of tracked wins, the user's preference, or just picked randomly.
  • Server List Info
    Displays status updates such as leaderboard/market resets, ongoing events, and announcements next to MR server listings

Updated to Mace Roulette 1.9 (Thanks to Froogile for some of the code)

New HUD element:

  • Star Fragments: Shows the star fragments gained during the game

New HUD element settings:

  • Hide when eliminated (Mace Chance, Eliminations, Star Fragments)
  • Show 2d heads (Modifiers)
  • Show mystery modifiers (Modifiers)

Added Toasts:

  • New event toast: Activated when there's a new event
  • Bounty toast: Activated when bounties are placed on you
  • Modifier charger toast: Activated when a modifier charger is used
  • Player join toast: Activated when a player (Player names are configurable) joins the game

Updated the icons for some modifiers

Fixed some bugs

  • Support for new modifiers: Magnetic Burst and Levitation Burst
  • New HUD Element: Mace Chance (per @Emeraldx392 PR #1)
    • Displays the current chance of getting the mace, adapting to several modifiers that change the chances.
    • Color of the chance percentage can be disabled, using the normal green text instead of the red-to-green transition

  • Support for Eternal Modifier event
  • Unknown modifiers (modifiers not recognized by MRC) and hidden modifiers (modifiers hidden by Mystery Modifiers event) are now separate in MRC's eyes
    • Hidden modifiers have a gray candle as their icon and are rendered as "???" in light blue text
    • Unknown modifiers use the Glitched Mace as their icon and are rendered as "Unknown Modifier" in red text
  • The overflow text shown when the amount of boosters exceeds boosterListMax is now Breeze colored instead of purple

This build features experimental changes that'll be more fleshed out in 0.2.0.

  • Support for new modifier: Lunge
  • Auto GG/GL messages now highlight matching phrases (when hovered; this is a bug, I don't know why it does this)
  • HUD elements can now have more granular configuration
    • This is only available for the Modifiers element right now, placing a maximum on the amount of players shown as modifier boosters.
  • The HUD can now use an accent color instead of the default MR-styled colors.

  • 1.21.8 has been dropped from support! I've done this because Mace Roulette now only supports versions 1.21.11 and later.
  • Fixed bug where the Round Info HUD would be hidden if any debug elements (including hitboxes) were being shown. Now, it'll only hide when the F3 menu is actually toggled.
  • Fixed bug where config menu would not generate without Adventure installed

  • Flint is now optional! While I still recommend using Flint so that MRC's features don't get triggered outside of Mace Roulette, you no longer need to use it.
    • A "Use Flint" toggle can now be found in the configuration menu.
  • For those who still wish to use Flint, you can now configure the list of plot IDs (and handles) that MRC will use to check for Mace Roulette.
  • Added the new Player Stacks modifier to the modifier list.

  • MRC is no longer enabled outside of PLAY mode

IMPORTANT: Flint has been updated!

Not only do the new Flint versions come with 1.21.11 support, they also include a fix for the PlotSwitchListeningFeature not firing occasionally. Although this no longer affects MRC versions going forwards (since it now uses ModeSwitchListeningFeature instead of PlotSwitchListeningFeature going forwards), I still recommend updating.
