LowPing helps keep your Minecraft server smooth and responsive by optimizing how item cleanup works. When a player dies, their dropped items stay on the ground longer — by default 10 minutes — instead of disappearing too quickly. Players can customize this delay with /timerespawn <1|3|5|10|15> and choose how long their items remain before being cleared.

Features:

Works with Spigot, Paper, Purpur and Bukkit

WARNING: I'm not sure if Bukkin supports it, so check it out, but the plugin definitely supports other cores.

LowPing is a lightweight Spigot/Paper plugin designed to optimize your Minecraft server and reduce lag. It automatically cleans up dropped items every 5 minutes and allows server admins to manually clean items using the
/lowping clean command. By reducing server load, players experience smoother gameplay and lower effective latency. Compatible with Spigot, Paper, and Purpur 1.13+ (including 1.20.x and 1.21.x).
