Description


For centuries, stories have circulated about a mythical dimension that once flourished with wealth and power, but which was lost in the mists of time.

Despite countless attempts to find it, no one has ever been able to uncover any proof of its existence...until now.

Recently, a rare mineral known as Litherite has been discovered scattered throughout the Minecraft world.

This crystal is unlike any other substance found in the game, with the ability to be formed into a wide variety of different shapes and imbued with incredible magical powers.

As word of this new discovery spreads, a group of intrepid adventurers has set out on a quest to uncover the truth about Litherite and the lost dimension it may be connected to.

Along the way, they will explore ancient ruins, decipher cryptic inscriptions, and battle fierce monsters in their quest to uncover the secrets of this mysterious crystal.

But their journey will not be an easy one. They will need to navigate treacherous terrain, avoid deadly traps, and solve complex puzzles to unlock the secrets of Litherite and uncover the truth about the lost dimension.

And all the while, they will be pursued by rival factions who seek to claim the power of Litherite for themselves.

Will you join these brave adventurers on their quest to uncover the truth about Litherite and the lost dimension? Only time will tell if this ancient legend is true, but one thing is for certain: the power of Litherite is real, and it's up to you to unlock its full potential.

Changes

  • Added hammers for all vanilla tool materials
  • Retextured Odysium Pickaxe, Shovel, Hoe, and Hammer to make them less awkward but more unique
  • Odysium Shovel and Odysium Hoe now have the ability to do multi-block interactions, Shovel can mine or path in its AOE while sneaking, while Hoe can till in a 3x3 area unless sneaking
  • Added tooltips for lithereal:special_ability component
  • Added lithereal:smelter data component, which makes the loot dropped when mining smelted; takes in a list of items or a tag defining what items cannot be smelted
  • Added lithereal:multi_miner data component, allowing an item it is on to mine multiple blocks at once, with the following fields:
    • shape_configs: A list or single entry of configurations for shapes to mine out, with format as follows:
      • shape: A shape to mine out, can be any registered miner shape.
      • radius: The "radius" of the shape, used by all shapes
      • depth: The length prism-like shapes will extend outwards in the view direction
      • center_offset: The offset of the center pos to provide to this shape, takes x, y, and z as value providers
    • total_speed_factor: The factor for mining speed which the total of all blocks mined will be multiplied by
    • min_speed_factor: Is multiplied by the immediate target block's speed to get the minimum speed for mining the block, if the total speed is less, this will be used
    • triggers_if: List of trigger conditions for this item, controls when it can be triggered
      • Possible values:
        1. primary_action: Player must NOT be sneaking to trigger this
        2. secondary_action: Player must be sneaking to trigger this
        3. is_face_horizontal: Only triggers when interacting on a horizontal face of the block
        4. is_face_vertical: Only triggers when interacting on a vertical face of the block
        5. is_mining: Only triggers when using left-click functionality on the block
        6. is_using: Only triggers when using right-click functionality on the block
  • Added lithereal:miner_shapes datapack registry, defines miner shapes to be used with the lithereal:multi_miner component
    • JSON files for this registry are located in <namespace>/lithereal/miner_shapes/<path>.json
    • These JSON files have the following format:
      • display_name: The component to display inside the tooltip
      • condition: The condition to match blocks inside the bounding box for, full format will be documented later
      • uses_depth: Whether the shape should make use of the depth field on the shape config, this should always match with if you actually utilize depth
  • Added built-in miner shapes:
    1. rectangular_prism
    2. cylinder
    3. sphere
    4. octahedron
    5. diamond_prism
    6. cross (a single cross shape aligned with the direction you are mining it across for length depth)
    7. tricross (a cross shape across the 3 axes, centered at the middle of its radius)
    8. straight (just a straight line)

  • Burning, Smoldering, Frozen, and Frostbitten Litherite tools, as well as Enhanced Odysium tools, now use custom damage types.
  • Burning and Smoldering Litherite are now affected by fire resistance, fire prot, and natural fire immunity
  • Frozen and Frostbitten Litherite now affect Blazes, Striders, and Magma Cubes for extra damage
  • Frozen and Frostbitten Litherite now provide weaker freeze, in exchange for a new ability, causing chill for 5s and 7.5s upon hit, adding 2.5s and 3.75s if the entity is already chilled
  • Added Chill, a "status effect" which slows down entities while it is active
  • If Chill exceeds 9 seconds in duration with the attack, causes Freeze for 1.5s (immobilizes the affected entity)
  • Added Freeze Resistance Mob Effect, which makes the affected entity immune to Chill/Freeze status, freezing damage, and being frozen by powder snow
  • Added Freeze Resistance Potion, which can be made with a fermented spider eye on Fire Resistance
  • Added Frailness Potion, which can be made with a fermented spider eye on Sturdiness, takes armor instead of giving it
  • Frozen and Frostbitten Litherite armors now provide Freeze Resistance passively
