🌀 JJK Datapack — Over a Year in the Making

This is a Jujutsu Kaisen–themed datapack built for survival worlds, meant to be played with friends(it is recomend that if you are playing on mark 12 or below that players have different techniques then each other) (or solo). It's been in active development for over a year — I only recently started uploading it to Modrinth, since it was originally just for me and my friends' private server and I never planned on releasing it.

Note: Because of how much this pack does, not every mechanic is documented here. I'd highly recommend just testing things out in-game to see what each technique offers. Also for custom carrot on a stick your datapack must have mark10 or higher. but the resorce pack can be any version.

Note: for the versions the key word "mark" is only for the datapack, while the keyword "installation" is for resroce packs.

Compatibility: May not work well alongside other datapacks or plugins that heavily use the action bar.

First-time setup: When starting your server/world for the first time, type /reload in chat.

Getting Started

When you join, you're given a random Max Cursed Energy total between 30 and 100 in steps of 5. From there, your cap can grow all the way up to 1000 (or higher, see Dragon Drinker below) — though there are a few inconsistencies here and there.

*Projection Sorcery caps your Max CE at 700 instead of the normal 1000.

How Do I Get a Technique?

Techniques aren't rolled automatically or found in-world — an operator has to assign one to you. If you're the server admin, give a player their technique with:

/tag <player> add <technique_tag>

For example: /tag Steve add antigrav gives Steve Antigravity. See the table below for each tag. This is intentional — it lets whoever's running the server decide how techniques get handed out (fair rolls, RP application, whatever you want).

The Carrot on a Stick System

In older versions, abilities were bound to shift + hotbar slot combos. That's been replaced — every technique now gives you a uniquely named, colored Carrot on a Stick. Hold it in your main hand and use the actions below. Domain techniques give you a second stick once unlocked (200 Max CE) specifically for activating the Domain.

Base Stick (everyone gets this, except heavenly restriction)

• Right-click: Cursed Fist (or White Fist if Reverse is ON)
• Shift + right-click: Cursed Block (Reverse OFF, 45 Max CE) or Reverse Cursed Technique heal (Reverse ON, 100 Max CE)
• Drop: Toggle Reverse Cursed Technique ON/OFF (needs 100 Max CE)

Antigravity Stick

• Drop: Cycle target mode — Self → Both → Them → Self...
• Right-click: Fires the antigravity/gravity effect for your current mode (changes if Reverse is ON)
• Shift + right-click: Antigravity Dash (or Gravity Drop if Reverse is ON)
• Domain Stick — right-click: Activate the Antigravity Domain

Projection Sorcery Stick

• Right-click: Time Stop
• Shift + right-click: Projection Dash
• Domain Stick — right-click: Activate the Projection Domain (Time Stop changes behavior while inside it)

Blood Manipulation Stick

• Right-click: Piercing Blood (or Blood Take if Reverse is ON)
• Shift + right-click: Blood Gain (or Blood Lose if Reverse is ON)
• Drop: Flowing

Shrine Stick

info: cleave actually gets stronger based on the amount of max ce you have

• Shift + right-click: Dismantle
• Drop: Shrine Dash
• Domain Stick - right click: Domain

Ten Shadows Stick

info: the summons dont attack you with the exeption of the warden who dosent attack you if you have or higher 250 max ce.

• Right-click: Summon your current shikigami (or desummon it if one's already out)
• Shift + right-click: Recall your shikigami to your side
• Drop: Cycle through your shikigami roster
• Domain Stick — right-click: Activate the Shadow Domain

Copy Stick

info: to get someones technique you must kill them 5 times

• Drop: Cycle which technique you currently have copied
• Shift + right-click: Copy Dash
• Domain Stick — right-click: Activate the Copy Domain

Boogie Woogie Stick

• Right-click: does multipule different things based on the mode and id CTR is on
• Shift + right-click: does multipule different things based on the mode and id CTR is on
• Drop: Toggle Boogi woogie tech (changes what right-click/shift-click do while active — test it out!)

Star rage Stick

• Shift + right-click: Charge punch deals more dammage the longer you charge Though hold it for too long and it cancels (charge, realse with right click)
• right-click: Basic punch(stornger then cursed punch)

Ratio Stick

• Shift + right-click:: a quick time event that no cooldown(you cant use it agian untill the qicktime event is over) (wait untill the line apears at the 7th isntance then right click)

Heavenly restriction

info: techniqally this isnt a technique but either way i added it. Though all is is is just some passives.

Other Tags

• Six Eyes — Cursed Energy regenerates faster.
• Dragon Drinker — Get this by being in the End when the Ender Dragon dies (resummoned dragons count too). Raises your Max CE cap to 1300 (or 1000 if you also have Projection Sorcery), and boosts your CE regen.
• COT (Consumer of the Dead) — Killing a mob grants you Cursed Energy.

Unlocks

• Cursed Block (Base Stick, shift + right-click, Reverse OFF) — Block all damage for 1 second. Unlocks at 45 Max CE.
• Reverse Cursed Technique (Base Stick, shift + right-click, Reverse ON) — A healing ability.
• Cursed Technique Reversal (Base Stick, drop to toggle) — Unlocks at 100 Max CE, alongside Reverse Cursed Technique. Also unlocks the "reverse" side of certain attacks.
• Domains — All technique domains unlock at 200 Max CE.
