This mod has been replaced with a more secure web app over at isthismodlegit.anopensauce.dev!
Is This Mod Legit? Is a mod that scans your mods folder, and checks them against Modrinth to verify if they have been tampered with or not. This can be useful when identifying if a mod in your modpack is from a trustworthy source or not. This mod works for up to 300 individual .jar files. (past that, modrinth will stop checking the files.)
Supports 1.18.2 and onward, and works on both the client and server! Requires an internet connection to function every time you add/remove a mod.

- Greatly improved speed of mod scanning by multithreading.
- Added a caching system, that stores mod hashes. This means that you can play on the go, without needing an internet connection to scan.
This cache also improves startup times, and reduces load on modrinth's own servers greatly.
