Why this mod?
I was watching some YouTube video about dolphin tunnels, when I saw signs being used to block off a 3x3 of water. I thought that looked kinda ugly, so I had the idea to make some sort of forcefield that could block fluids. Hopefully this mod helps with that.
Impenduit Pylons
Low-powered forcefield emitters. Requires mirrored setup up to 24 blocks away.
Right click any pylon with a Heart of the Sea to activate the field; right click any pylon containing a Heart of the Sea with any Pickaxe to deactivate it. This also works with dispensers!
When placing Pylons, they always face towards you, with the axis being determined by the target block face clicked.
Notably, Impenduit Fields can replace any block with a hardness of 0 that isn't a full block when spawning. This drops the block's loot!
Impenduit Fields
Emitted by Impenduit Pylons. Treats entities contacting them as being in rain. You can walk on them if you have Frost Walker!
They also change color according to the biome's water color!
Compat
EMI is recommended, but I did add a proper recipe advancement granted upon the obtaining of a Heart of the Sea, so you can go for that if you want.

Changes
- Reworked Impenduit Field formation logic to be more consistent and robust.
- Now, fields iterate out from the origin point instead of going in one direction until interrupted.
- Block destruction has also been streamlined because it was janky before.
- Impenduit Pylons now eject their power cores based on where they were clicked - no more will they eject power cores in random directions! (at least if the core slots aren't blocked off)
- Impenduit Fields now block rain both visually and functionally.

- "Hard Ice Bridge" - Walk on an Impenduit Field with Frost Walker
- "Wait, That's Illegal" (hidden) - Use Riptide while touching an Impenduit Field in an ultrawarm dimension.
- Added statistics relating to Impenduit Fields
- Added impenduits.maxImpenduitFieldSize gamerule to allow adjustment the max impenduit field size.
- Defaults to 24, can range from 0 to 64.
- Setting this to 0 will disable Impenduit field formation entirely.
What's to come:
- I'm planning on adding an archaeology structure that has some goodies as well as demoing some of the uses of Impenduit Fields, so stay tuned for that.
