Immersive Aircraft: Better Engines

This mod changes the way progress in immersive aircraft work, now boasting a sophisticated progression with lots of items, upgrades and planes! If you have ever wanted to go faster in immersive aircraft, this mod is for you!

Upgrade your planes and reach more than 400kmh/250mph!

nether engine before having a star added to it, +40% engine power and +30% fuel requirement
nether engine after having a star added to it, now with +45% engine power and +35% fuel requirement

This mod also adds a lot of balancing changes. A lot of recipes have got more complex, to make the progression more interesting and rewarding. These recipes use the new material steel and plates made from copper, gold, iron and steel.
Other than changed recipes, planes also cant have 2 of the same type of upgrade now. For example, you cant have 2 engines or 2 propellers in the same aircraft. This is in order to encourage creative upgrade decisions.

Changelog:

  • Engines:
  • Added a starring system, inspired by hypixel skyblock! Every engine can be upgraded up to 10 stars, the first 5 are normal the last 5 are "master" stars. The stars need glowstone dust, ender eyes and diamonds to be made! Each star increases fuel usage and power usage by 5%.
  • **Upgrades: **
  • Gold propeller - upgrade to the enhanced propeller
  • Power gyroscope - gyroscope that also buffs the engine
  • Reinforced pipes - upgrade to the industrial pipes
  • Perfect landing gear - upgrade to the improved landing gear
  • Fuel:
  • added dense fuel, which is just made from 9 compressed fuels, and is what its name says it is
  • New Planes!
  • Sport Biplane: a sport version of the biplane, faster, with better handling and more upgrade slots, but with no weapon slot, significantly higher fuel usage and less storage space
  • Commercial Hopper: a commercialised version of the bamboo hopper. Has seats for up to 17(or 16, I dont remember) players and storage space split into 4. It is also slightly faster. However, it does use more fuel and there is only 1 weapon slot.
  • Rebalancing! Huge changes!
  • supercharger and turbo rebalanced to both be useful
  • Added new items for recipes including steel and plates.
  • Rebalanced most upgrade recipes, including vanilla immersive aircraft upgrades and upgrades from this addon, to be harder to make and have a more complex recipe. Weapons and vehicles(except for biplane) have been left untouched.

  • New fuel item: Compressed fuel! Made from lava and coal blocks(which can now be made from charcoal), it allows for a nefficient fuel solution!
  • Boiler upgrade: We now have the advanced boiler, which is a better version of the steel boiler, giving more power but also more fuel usage. Cant use 2 boilers at once.
  • Brought back the reinforced engine as the advanced engine! A middle-man upgrade between the stock engine and the nether engine, to improve engine progression!
  • Brought back the semi eco engine! A middle-man upgrade between the stock engine and the eco engine!
  • Greek translation!
