Create: Hypertubes

This mod is currently in active development and is compatible with both Create 0.5.1 and 6.0.x. Features may change, and bugs are expected. Please report any issues on my GitHub!

Welcome to Create: Hypertubes!

Ever wanted to build a transportation network in Minecraft similar to ones in Satisfactory? Create: Hypertubes is an addon for the Create mod, inspired by Satisfactory Hypertubes, allowing you to construct intricate and seamless tube systems for moving players and entities with ease. Hypertubes offer a new way to travel in your Minecraft world.

With an intuitive building system, you can design elegant and fun hypertubes with many curves to travel through, or build long, efficient straightaway tubes to power your logistics network! The options are limitless.

Placing Tubes

Placing Tubes

The components are designed to integrate smoothly into your existing Create progression, making it easy to get your Hypertube network up and running. Getting your network running is as simple as it gets: just power a Hypertube Entrance with a cogwheel and you're ready to go.


Hypertube Entrance Modes

Entrance Modes

You can modify the Hypertube Entrance with a wrench to select your preferred mode! If you're using Automatic Lock Mode, you can sneak to avoid being pulled into the tube


Fish and Villagers

Fish and Villagers

With version 0.2.0, fish and villagers can now travel through the tubes! Just turn on Automatic Lock Mode and watch them go :)

(Experimental! you can disable this in the config files)


Visual customization

Customization

You can customize tube connections just by using a Wrench!

(This is just the first step toward the customization milestone, any suggestions or help are welcome!)


Automatization

You can automatize tube behavior or detects travellers with Attachments!

Hypertubes 0.5.0 SPLITTER/JUNCTION UPDATE! (ALPHA TEST VERSION)

Do not consider this the final release; this version is intended to gather feedback and identify potential issues.

Features

  • Added the new Junction System using the Hypertube Splitter
  • Players can now create branching tube networks with multiple possible paths
  • Junctions can dynamically redirect travelers via redstone or manually (using WASD) through different tube routes
  • Players can view the selected path using Goggles and change the Junction mode with a Wrench
  • Improved internal pathfinding and tube traversal logic to support complex networks

Improvements

  • Improved client-side movement synchronization while traveling through tubes
  • Reworked some crafting recipes to feel more immersive
  • Reduced visual jitter during tube travel
  • Hypertube Accelerators now play a higher-pitched sound when passing through

Fixes

  • Fixed desync issues between client and server during tube travel
  • Fixed visual issues affecting tube rendering in Ponder scenes
  • Various stability and performance improvements

Notes

This update is mainly focused on introducing the Junction System, which has been one of the most requested features for Hypertubes.

A lot of the internal code had to be reworked to make branching tube networks possible, which should also provide a better foundation for future features and improvements.

  • You can now fully customize which entities are allowed to travel through the tube (via config or datapack)
  • Added new Tube Attachments:
    • Tube Scanner Attachment – Emits a redstone signal when any entity passes through
    • Redstone Detector Attachment – Changes the tube state when powered

Fixes

  • The player will always exit from the front of the tube
  • Fixed camera crash glitch with Immersive Portals
  • Fixed Steam ‘n Rails dismount issue
  • Fixed tube desync when changing the segment amount
