What does this mod do? How does it work?

Hero Necklace introduces an exciting tiered progression system with powerful necklaces and gemstones, providing players with dynamic gameplay and combat-based rewards. This mod transforms the simple Hero of the Village status effect into a multi-tiered power-up gameplay loop, allowing you to unlock Hero of the Village buffs permanently through equipped necklaces that grow stronger as you progress through raids and collect rare gemstones from enemies.

Companion Mod Suggestion:

For your enjoyment you may find that the Guard Villagers mod (https://modrinth.com/mod/guard-villagers-(fabricquilt)) synergizes perfectly with this mod. Why? Because in the Guard Villagers mod when you have the Hero of the Village status effect you are essentially the general of any guard villagers allowing you to have them follow you/patrol areas and can change their loadout (armor/weapons/food for healing) normally when you wouldn't have the HOTV effect you would lose the ability to have them follow you/reassign them patrol areas.

Note: This is the latest version, and while it has been tested thoroughly, unknown bugs or mod incompatibilities may exist. Please report any issues you encounter.

Unleash the full potential of the Hero Necklace mod with our brand-new Tier System! Now, your journey to becoming the ultimate hero is more exciting and rewarding than ever before.

As you battle fearsome foes and explore the world, you can now collect five powerful gemstones, each representing a new tier of strength and protection. These special gems—Emerald, Sapphire, Amethyst, Pink Spinel, and Ruby—can be slotted into your necklace to unlock powerful effects, transforming you from a simple adventurer into a true champion!

How It Works:

Base Necklace: Begin your adventure by crafting the Hero Necklace, your gateway to ultimate power. Tiered Gemstones: Defeat raid bosses and pillagers to collect gemstones such as the Trimmed Emerald, Sapphire, Amethyst, Pink Spinel, and Ruby. Each gem corresponds to a different necklace tier, with Ruby being the rarest and most powerful!

Slot the Gems: Equip your necklace with a gemstone by placing it in the Trinkets chest/necklace slot to gain Hero of the Village buffs, with each tier increasing the strength. No matter what tier though, the buff is permanent so long as the necklace is equipped.

Raid-Based Progression: As you defeat enemies and increase your Bad Omen level, higher-tier gemstones will become accessible as loot, rewarding you for your daring victories in combat!
