Small Beds adds a half-size bed that lives in a single block, comes in every dye color, and behaves like the real thing: sleep in it, set your spawn, and let your villagers claim it. Perfect for tight bedrooms, ship cabins, and wall-to-wall villager housing.

One block. A full night's sleep.

Half beds work like vanilla beds where it counts. Right-click to sleep, skip the night, and set your respawn point. They take up a single block instead of two, so you can line a room with them or tuck one into a corner that a normal bed would never fit.

Sixteen colors, and they blend

Every dye color is here, from White to Black. Craft the color you want, or recolor a bed you already have with a dye.

Push different half beds together and they visually merge into one larger bed, with the colors weaving together along the seam.

Villagers can claim them

Each half bed registers as a real home point of interest, exactly like a vanilla bed. That means villagers natively find, claim, and sleep in them and those beds count toward breeding and iron golem spawning, just like normal beds.

Line a compact villager hall with half beds and house twice as many residents in the same footprint. (Villager use can be turned off in the config if you'd rather keep the beds to yourself.)

psst. You can also put profession blocks on the half beds!

Crafting

Cheap and simple. Two wool over two planks in a 2×2 grid makes a half bed in that wool's color. Already have one? Combine it with any dye to recolor it.
