Minecraft client-sided mod that make entities glow on dark!

Wanna play without FullBright but you still want to see everything?
So you got to the right place!

Glowing Entites is a mod that turns every entity into a light source.

How to use the mod?

On the minecraft chat type this command:

/glowing_effect <light level>
  • To change the glowing effect strength replace the <light level> with a number between 0 to 15, this will change the entities light level.
  • If you want to turn off the mod, please type in the Minecraft chat one of the following commands:
- /glowing_effect -1
- /glowing_effect 0

Version 3.0 of Glowing Entites is out 🥳

Changelog:

- Fixed mod logic, From now the default entity light level will be set to 15.
- Rewrite command logic, now you can only input numbers between -1 to 15, input-1 or 0 to turn off the mod.
- Added support for the new Minecraft version 1.20.5 ✨

Thanks to @uhb217 to the new changes in the mod!

From now, you can simply change the glowing effect , by typing the following command in the minecraft chat:

  • /glowing_effect <light level>
    To change the glowing effect strength replace the <light level> with a number between 0 to 15.
    (please be aware it will change the light level of entities,higher numbers will be replace to light level 15)

If you want to turn off the mod simplay type:

  • /glowing_effect -1
