Introduction
do you ever get bored of normal weapons and don't want to add a new ore? well, fear not because Ethereal Enhanced Weaponry has got ya. This mod aims to make a new level to diamond and netherite (with a bonus weapon)! Enchancement is recomended as the weapons are developed with the balances of Enchancement (Without it the weapons might go outside the balance of vanilla minecraft).
Weapon Limitations
Now, some measures are in place to balance things out.
- if both Heretical and Divinity weapons are found inside your inventory they will not give any special abilities and will pester you in the chat to remove one.

Weapons
Divine Paladun
On Hit: Divine Smite
- When striking an enemy, if the target is a Monster entity, you deal an additional 2-4 holy damage (along with a display only thunder strike). On a successful Smite, you gain 1 Blessing
Passive: Holy Water
- Having Speed on you while not slowed transfers the Speed into 1 Blessing and Slowness (15sec slowness)
R-Click: Channel Divinity
- When you reach 3 Blessings and right click, everyone within a large area will be glowing, with - people in a small area getting night vision
- Using this also grants Resistance
- While under Channel Divinity, you are able to use Divine Smite on any mob that can be attacked (25% chance)
- Must be on the ground, not sprinting, and not swimming
Divinity Ultimate: Divine Blessing
- When you are not on the ground and have 5+ Blessings, you are able to spread your blessings, granting regen 2 for 6 seconds to anyone around you
- The range of the blessing is determined by how many blessings you have
- At 10 Blessings (Max), Regen lasts an additional second
- People (including you) who have been blessed will receive the Divine Blessing effect.
- Divine Blessing protects you from wither, poison, and Eternal Flame
Heretical Inferno
On Hit: Volcanic
- As soon as you attack an entity, grants the user the Volcanic effect
- While under volcanic, you are constantly on fire
- During Volcanic, you will be granted Strength
- Attacking again after Volcanic has ended allows Strength to stack up to 3
- Fire Res will be confiscated upon activation, with you being able to regain it after the timer is up (copies duration)
R-Click: Ashen Wrath
- The user sacrifices 4 hearts instantly upon right click (true damage)
- In return, they gain Ashen Wrath for 15 seconds:
- All your melee attacks burn Shields. (Does not affect Netherite Shields)
- Each hit deals +2 fire damage (partial true damage).
- However, if you don’t attack within 3 seconds, you take 2 fire damage instead.
- Double Ashen Wrath doubles the amount of fire damage that you inflicted and get inflicted via Ashen Wrath
Heretical Ultimate: Eternal Flame
- Once you reach Strength three, you are able to Give the Eternal Flame to every Entity within a 15 block radius, including you
- Eternal Flame keeps you on fire until it is up
- While on fire, anything you use as an attack will set the target on fire (Wardenspine flame go brrr)
- Jumping in water boils the water
- If you are in rain, the block above you will turn into basalt
- Duration is 15 seconds
Q&A
Q: When will you update/backport the mod to 1.x.x
A: I am not going to backport this mod, and updating the mod to other versions is something that I am not going to take requests on, the versions that I update them to are the versions that will be avalible, once I update this mod to a new version, all updates will no longer happen for that version unless it was a planned to be. (E.E.W. was planned to be reverted back to 1.19.2)

A: If you are the rightful owner of content used in this mod and believe it should be removed, please contact me on discord or at [email protected] with proof of ownership and a clear reason for the request. Q: I don’t like how the mod plays. Can I ask for a rework?
A: The mod is designed with a specific vision in mind. If it doesn't fit your playstyle, you are welcome to modify it for personal use or suggest changes in my discord, but I am not obligated to implement every request. Additionally, if you are wanting a specific item removed from my mod, you can do so via Item Obliterator, and if you want chaos(Enchancement) to not apply an effect after the item is removed, there is a tag inside of enchancement that has a list of effects that cannot be granted by chaos(Exampe: Hero of the Village), just use a datapack that replaces that tag list.
Q: Where is the 2.x.x documentation and the 1.x.x documentation?

- Volcanic removes fire res after it expires
- Ashen Wrath D.o.T. damage and rate has been increased
- Ashen Wrath I deals 2hp (1 heart)
- Ashen Wrath II deals 3hp (1.5 hearts)
- Ashen Wrath D.o.T. is now consistent (damage every 3 seconds after not fighting for 3 seconds instead of damage every 3 seconds for not fighting for 6 seconds.)

Might work for other versions of 1.20.x but i'm not testing it.
Gilded Doom has been completely removed from the mod.
A lot of changes has happened, such as Diamond Divinity getting replaced with the Freezing Divinity, and the Heretical Netherite Sword getting a rename to Heretical Inferno with a right click special.
This mod has been rewritten so the namespace is changed to ethereal_weapony bc i got tired of the namespace name being too long.
Additionally, if you want Gilded Stasis to not kick people for flying, you have to enable flying in your server.properties file.

- With Heretical Infero, removing the sword from your main hand will result in your Volcanic and Strength to be removed.

Weapons
Freezing Divinity
(Frozen Aura)
- Every attack has a 25% chance to grant you and the target Frozen Aura
- Frozen Aura gives you glowing and can be stacked 10 times to grant the user Strength and Resistance 2
- Effect lasts 1 minute
(Aura Stealer)
- Right-clicking gives you Aura Stealer for 2 Seconds and puts right clicking on cooldown for 15 seconds
- Hitting a target while under Aura Stealer allows you to steal their Frozen Aura
Counters:
- Shield
- If Frozen Aura is applied to a person on fire, Frozen Aura will remove itself and will have a 50% chance to deal 3 damage
Heretical Inferno
(Volcanic)
- As soon as you attack an entity, grants the user the Volcanic effect
- While under volcanic, you are constantly on fire
- During Volcanic, you will be granted Strength
- Attacking again after Volcanic has ended allows Strength to stack up to 3
(Molten Jump)
- Requires a 3x3x3 of open space to activate
- Right clicking launches you in the air, dealing 6 fire damage within ~4 blocks of the jump
- Additionally, removes volcanic if you have it.
- If Volcanic is removed during activation, you gain Fire Resistance for 15 seconds.
- Once special gets activated, Molten Jump will be on cooldown for 60 seconds
Counters:
- Shield
- Water of any kind (you take Dmg if you have Volcanic while in water)
Gilded Netherite Axe
- Has a 25% Chance to make killed target drop gold nuggets
Gilded Brute Axe (Gilded Stasis)
- Has a Chance to grant the Gilded Stasis Effect
- While Under Gilded Stasis, you cannot jump or walk
Counters:
- Movement outside of walking/sprinting and jumping
- Milk
- Shield

Recipes Fixxed
Gilded Doom Added (lot of stuff concerning the Gilded Brute Axe that can only be unlocked via two of the developers) [Examples being Pending Death and Ultimate Power] (Set a scoreboard named Dealer and you will be set)
Quilt and Fabric have been tested

DISCLAIMER: USING MILK ON VOLCANIC CRASHES YOUR GAME
This is not originally intended, but I kept it in because using milk on volcanic is considered cheating the system, and I know that there are other items that act as milk in the modded scene so disabling milk offhand would be pointless because a lot of mods(ex: Create) have milk bottles and such.
Oh and make sure you enable flying else Gilded Stasis will kick people.
Weapon Limitations
Now, some measures are in place to balance things out.
- Volcanic and Under Pressure are disabled if both Heretical and Divinity weapons are found inside your inventory (you are still allowed to hold other objects in your off-hand).
- Removing your weapon from your main hand will remove its effects.
- Under Pressure removes itself + Strength and Resistance.
- Volcanic removes itself + Strength.
- Even after the you are granted the effects, you will be granted a Binding Effect, this effect will make it to where if you switch your weapon after the effects have been applied it will still clear them.

- When Both the User and Target are Ignited (25% chance on hit), Gives the Under Pressure Effect for 5min
- Under Pressure Stacks up to 10 times
- After the tenth stack, User Strength 2 and Resistance for 1min

Heretical Netherite Sword (Volcanic)
- As soon as you attack an entity, grants the user the Volcanic effect
- While under volcanic, you are constantly on fire
- After Volcanic has ended, you will be granted Strength
- Attacking again regrants Volcanic and allows strength to stack up to lvl 3

- Water of any kind (you take Dmg if you try attacking in water or have Volcanic while in water)
