Description of supported features on different platforms

The mod adds items which allow you to save points and quickly teleport to them. There are 3 books, each of which can be used within the same dimension:

An OverworldBook for the overworld,

OverworldBook item

a NetherBook for the Nether,

NetherBook item

a Book Of The End for the End,

Book Of The End

& universal to all vanila dimensions - EnderBook.

EnderBook

To use a book, open it, then click on one of the three or four icons to save your current coordinates. Please note that the coordinates are not saved in a book - they are saved individually for the player, as it usually works with Ender Chest.

Example with OverworldBook:

Example with Writable OverworldBook:

Saving current position, teleporting to home for some items and turning back to saved position.

To return to a saved coordinates, you need to have at least 1 Ender Pearl in your inventory. Attach the Ender Perl to the line where is the pressed icon located, and then you will teleport.

Also this mod adds Enderpengament:

Enderpengament

By pressing RMB draw something on it to save your place, and then - the same way swallow it to return to the saved place.

THERE ARE CONTRAINDICATIONS TO USE: slight damage is possible, loss of Ender Pearls, leg atrophy.

The mod can be installed on a modified server.

What's new?

  • few UI buttons didn't work correct
  • all teleportations now based on command (u shouldn't feel difference)

What's next?

i guess now EnderBook finished - i didn't find any another bugs so it works correct. when I'll have more free time I'll start to add another books - OverworldBook, NetherBook and BookOfTheEnd. But it will have few differences - this books will be stored saved points inside themselves, so you will able even share your saved points by dropping a book to another player. I also want to change it this way on NeoForge version, but I need to make point-transfer from old system to new (to prevent players from losing their saves)

What's new?:

  • Now when you save point you also save your camera position (only azimut). When u waste pearl to return to saved point u also will rotated
  • In some cases player could get debug messages - it was fixed.

  • EnderBook now have second page (+4 additional points to save)
  • Camera randomly rotated when u teleported. I removed it, in next updates instead camera will rotate to saved value
  • Fixed a bug with sound of teleportation.

I started port Enderbooks to Forge 1.20.1. In the future port will have more content from original mod, but now:

  • Added Enderbook (only one page now).
  • Instead of NF version it should work correct even with custom dimensions
