This mod is intended to add blank, customizable music discs for use with AudioPlayer. The discs are made up of 3 parts: The record, label, and pattern (optional).

Disc Records can be obtained by either smelting Music Discs. Custom Discs can also be smelted but lose their colour. Disc Labels can be crafted with paper, and Label Patterns cannot be crafted.

These parts can be dyed similarly to leather armour.

Label patterns can be obtained by washing discs, vanilla or custom-made, in a cauldron, splitting them into their parts. These parts can then be washed again, ready to be dyed. There are 11 unique Label Patterns that can be applied to your discs.

Finally, they can be combined in a crafting grid, to then be given custom audio via AudioPlayer. There are also extra disc variants that can be crafted by adding an extra item.

finally, after way too long...

  • label patterns!!
    • customize your discs with extra patterns
    • 10 new patterns, based off the different music discs
  • disc washing
    • dismantle both vanilla discs and your own discs to separate them into their different parts by washing them in a cauldron
    • this is currently the only way to get label patterns in survival
  • part washing
    • dyed a part the wrong colour? clean it like leather armour
  • new disc type
    • gradient disc that uses the label pattern as a secondary colour

i felt that the last version, adding new disc types, deserved to be 1.1.0 but of well,,,

Changes:

  • New disc types, crafted by adding an extra material to the disc recipe.
    • Broken Discs, like Disc 11, are crafted with gunpowder.
    • Echo Discs, like Disc 5, are crafted with echo shards.

  • Removed bugged "Silence" sound in favour of SoundEvents.INTENTIONALLY_EMPTY, fixing crashes with some mods.
