Surround a Flint and Steel with 8 Echo Shards to craft it, then right-click the Ancient City's Frame to open a portal to the Deeper Dark dimension.
Deep Dark Wastes & Ender Ghast
The only biome in the Deeper Dark dimension. Here, you'll encounter the Ender Ghast, a small Ghast that cannot shoot fireballs. It teleports and flies when provoked by eye contact, then attacks in melee when close.
Bonus Fact: Ender Ghasts have a 10% chance to drop a Dragon Egg when defeated.
Herobrine
You'll also encounter a rare new mob you definitely don't want to meet… The Herobrine. 😨
Herobrine Shrine
A dungeon structure that can generate in the new dimension. Rumors say there are many secrets to uncover here… maybe even a new villager!
Ancient Obsidian Debris
A rare ore found deep underground in the Deep Dark Wastes, completely encased in obsidian.
Note: Ancient Obsidian Debris and Ancient Debris now drop their yield directly when mined. No smelting is required, and the Fortune enchantment increases the amount.
Requires a Diamond Pickaxe or higher.

Combine 4 Netherite Scrap and 4 Ancient Obsidian Scrap to craft it.
Magic Obsidian Upgrade
Use this Smithing Template to upgrade your Netherite Armor and Tools into Magic Obsidian✨

Pink Daisy🌷
A delicate new flower that adds charm to your world.
Generation: Spawns naturally in the Cherry Grove biome. 🌸
Drops: Can also be obtained as a rare drop from Moolips upon death. 🐄🌷
Use: Can be crafted into Pink Dye or placed decoratively. 🎨
New Functional Blocks:
Wind Bearing
Inspired by the Create mod, this block gives a unique purpose to the Wind Charge item. When activated, it releases a powerful burst of wind energy that launches players and mobs about 6 blocks into the air, or even higher when used correctly. It also negates fall damage if you land on the same Y-level where you started.
Use it together with Wind Charges to reach greater heights, launch yourself across the world, or easily complete the "Who Needs Rockets?" advancement.
Honey Extractor
A new functional block found in the Beekeeper House. It serves as the profession block for the Beekeeper Villager, who uses it to unlock and trade honey-related items as they level up.
Can also be crafted using 4 Planks + 2 Honeycombs.
Place a Honeycomb and a Glass Bottle in this block to craft a Honey Bottle and Crystallized Honey.

New Overworld Ore:
Deepslate Netherite Ore
Generation: Spawns exclusively in the Deep Dark biome from Y=-45 and below.
Drops: When mined, it yields two distinct Netherite Shards.
Small Netherite Shards - can be combined into large ones.
Large Netherite Shards - can be combined into ancient debris.
Bonus Fact: Large Netherite Shards have a 10% chance to drop.
New Mining Improvements:
Ore Nuggets
Occasionally drops while mining Stone or Deepslate.
Can be crafted into its regular material form.
A single torch can be crafted using 2 coal nuggets and a stick.
Charcoal Nugget
Crafted exclusively from charcoal — the only way to get it!
A single torch can be crafted using 2 charcoal nuggets and a stick.
Bonus Fact: You can smelt one item using a single Coal/Charcoal Nugget!
Resin Nugget
Can only be obtained by smelting Resin Tools & Armor or by crafting Resin Bricks back into them.

New Projectile:
Pebble
A throwable projectile that deals damage to entities.
Drops from Dirt and, rarely, from Grass Blocks.
Can also be crafted into Cobblestone.
Pebbles – Can also be crafted into 9 of them from a single Cobblestone.
Note:
When thrown from the main hand: launches 2 pebbles at a time and deals increased damage.
When thrown from the off hand: launches 1 pebble at a time and deals less damage.
New Utilities:
Wooden Shears
Crafted using 2 planks of any type.
Weaker than regular Shears but still effective for harvesting plants and leaves.
Ceramic Shears
Crafted using 2 Bricks.
Slightly weaker than regular Shears, but much more efficient for harvesting wool and leaves.
If you don’t want to waste your iron on shears, crafting multiple of these will get the job done perfectly!
New Tools And Armor:
Craft Emerald, Resin and Amethyst Tools, Weapons & Armor using Resin Bricks, Emerald Gemstones, and Amethyst Shards.
An Emerald Nugget can be crafted into an Emerald Gemstone.
Bonus Fact: Emerald Gemstones now drop from mining Emerald and Deepslate Emerald Ores, while Villager and Wandering Trader trades still use regular emeralds.
Note: Emerald Gemstones can be crafted from Emerald Nuggets.

New Weapons:
Double Axes
Double Axes are powerful tiered tools and melee weapons designed to combine the utility of an axe with the strength of a heavier weapon.
Each Double Axe deals higher damage than its standard axe counterpart and has +0.5 mining efficiency, making it slightly more effective at harvesting blocks while still being primarily a weapon.
Spears
Spears now feature new and improved models ✨👌
You can craft Resin, Amethyst, Emerald, and Magic Obsidian spears.
Material Horns:
Can be crafted by combining any Goat Horn with 3 of its specific materials.
Each horn plays a different sound.
Copper Horn
Reintroduces the Copper Horn that was removed from Minecraft Bedrock Edition.
New functionality: when used underwater, it grants extra oxygen for 30 seconds before the air bubbles start to deplete.
Amethyst Horn
New Functionality: Removes Blindness effect
Redstone Horn
New Functionality: Removes Hunger effect.
Iron Horn
New Functionality: Resets the freezing animation when sinking in Powder Snow, helping you escape safely.
Quartz Horn
New Functionality: Grants the Fire Resistance effect for 3 seconds when used.
Golden Horn
When used in the main hand, grants Invisibility.
When used in the off-hand, cancels Invisibility.
Diamond Horn
New Functionality: When used while falling, it resets your fall distance as long as you are close to hitting the ground, preventing fall damage.
Emerald Horn
New Functionality: When used while falling, it resets your fall distance as long as you are close to hitting the ground, preventing fall damage.
Can also remove the Nausea effect.
Netherite Horn
Can be obtained by upgrading a Diamond Horn in a Smithing Table.
New Functionality: Extinguishes the player while on fire and removes the Wither effect.
Echo Horn
New Functionality: Removes the Darkness effect when used.

Moobloom
The Moobloom is a new mob originally featured in Minecraft Earth. It was one of the candidates in the Minecraft Live 2020 mob vote, but ultimately lost to the Glow Squid.
Spawn: Found in the Flower Forest biome.
Breeding & Tempting: Can be tempted and bred using Buttercups and Wheat.
Moolip
The Moolip is a new mob originally introduced in Minecraft Earth. It is a pink variant of the Moobloom.
Spawn: Found in the Cherry Grove biome.
Breeding & Tempting: Can be tempted and bred using Pink Daisies and Wheat.
Muddy Pig
Originally from Minecraft Earth, this variant of the pig can rarely spawn in the Mangrove Swamp biome. Covered in mud, it’s just as friendly as regular pigs but has a unique look.
Bouldering Zombie
Originally from Minecraft Earth, this variant of the zombie can climb blocks to reach you. It’s faster than regular zombies, but deals the same amount of damage.
Bonus Fact: Since its climbing behavior is based on spiders, it can rarely spawn with a skeleton riding on it, just like a Spider Jockey. 🧟♂️🕷️
Papa Smurf
Who hides in the mushrooms? The Smurfs! Well… not all of them—just Papa Smurf.
He can rarely spawn in a Mushroom House located in the Dark Forest biome (if you’re lucky enough).
Drops: Some paper, books, and a Bottle o’ Enchanting. He might also drop some rare goodies you’ll enjoy 😉
Smurfette
Smurfette lives with Papa Smurf in the Mushroom House. She tends to a small garden nearby, filled with flowers, carrots, and two rabbits.
Drops: Flowers upon defeat. 🌸
Gargamel
Who hates Smurfs? None other than Gargamel, the Evil Wizard!
He can spawn inside a castle in the Pale Garden biome, always accompanied by his wicked cat. Gargamel hunts down Papa Smurf or Smurfette—and if you provoke him, he’ll even come after you.
Drops: Valuable loot… if you’re lucky enough. 🧙♂️✨

Crystallized Honey
Each Honeycomb can be crafted into 9 Crystallized Honey pieces. Eating them cures poison instantly and is twice as fast as eating regular foods (similar to Dried Kelp).
Honeyed Apple🍯
Crafted by surrounding an Apple with Crystallized Honey. Eating it cures Poison, Slowness, and Weakness effects, making it especially useful against Witches!
Green Apple🍏
Can be obtained rarely as a drop from Oak or Dark Oak leaves.
Restores the same Hunger and Saturation as a regular apple when eaten.
Can be used to craft Golden Apples, just like regular apples.
Honeyed Green Apple🍏🍯
Can be crafted by surrounding a Green Apple with 8 Crystallized Honey in a Crafting Table.
Note: Like the regular Honeyed Apple, eating a Honeyed Green Apple removes Poison, Weakness, and Slowness effects.
Pear🍐
A rare fruit that can occasionally be found when breaking Birch Leaves.
Restores slightly less Hunger than an apple, but provides greater Saturation when eaten.
Can also be crafted into a Golden Pear, which grants the same powerful effects as a Golden Apple.
A Golden Pear can also be crafted into an Enchanted Golden Pear.
Golden Beetroot
Can be crafted using 8 Gold Nuggets and 1 Beetroot.
When eaten, grants Speed, Saturation, and Invisibility, making it very useful for sneaky situations or quick escapes.
Cherries
Cherries are a new fruit that can occasionally drop from Cherry Leaves. They can be eaten, smelted into Jam, or crafted into Golden Cherries, which grant you Speed, Haste, and Saturation for a short burst — perfect for quick escapes or fast mining in caves. Cherries can also be composted, and even Piglins are tempted by the shiny Golden Cherries!
Cooked Chicken Nugget
A Cooked Chicken can be crafted into 9 Cooked Chicken Nuggets, which can be eaten quickly.
Nuggets can also be crafted back into a Cooked Chicken if you change your mind.
Cooked Tropical Fish
Tropical Fish can now be cooked to create Cooked Tropical Fish.

Cooked Rotten Flesh
Rotten Flesh can now be cooked to create Cooked Rotten Flesh.
Unlike the raw version, it does not inflict the Hunger effect.

Music from the Rodeo Stampede mobile game, obtainable through Wandering Trader trades.
Music Disc "Bounce" (from the Chaos Cubed 26.2 drop), obtainable through Mineshaft minecart loot chests and also through Wandering Trader trades.
Loot Table Revamps to Containers:
Loot tables for chests and other containers have been revamped to make rewards more interesting.
Ice Box Loot

Axolotl
Drops 0–2 Tropical Fish, with rare chances to drop Ink Sacs or other types of fish.
Turtles
Now drops Seagrass, Kelp, Sea Pickle and Scute, with increased drops when using Looting.
Nautilues & Zombie Nautiluses
Now have a small chance to drop Pufferfish upon death, with increased drops when using Looting.
Frogs
Drops 0–2 Slimeballs upon death, with increased drops when using Looting.
Allay
Drops 0-1 Amethyst Shards on death, with increased drops when using Looting.
Sniffer
Drops 0–2 Torchflower Seeds upon death, with increased drops when using Looting.
It can also be used to discover Golden Dandelions, Ender Eyes, Phantom Membranes, and even a Snoft Pottery Sherd, in addition to its usual Ancient Seeds.
Armadillo
Has a small chance to drop an Armadillo Scute, and a 10% chance to drop a Spider Eye.
Creaking
Now drops Sticks and Resin upon death, with increased drops when using Looting.
Happy Ghast
Drops Snowballs and rarely a Ghast Tear, with increased drops when using Looting.
Vex
Has an extremely rare chance to drop a damaged Iron Sword upon death, when killed by the player.
Block Drops:
Grass, Tall Grass, Tall Dry Grass, Fern, Large Fern, Bush
Now have a small chance to drop Sticks when broken.
Dead Bush & Tall Dry Grass
Now have a very rare chance to drop an Armadillo Scute.
Grass Block, Dirt, Coarse Dirt, Rooted Dirt, Podzol, Mycelium, Dirt Path, Sand, Red Sand, Moss, Pale Moss
These blocks can now occasionally drop random useful items.
Dirt Path can now also be obtained with a Silk Touch tool.
Jungle Leaves
Increased Jungle Sapling drop rate from 2.5% → 5%, matching other tree types.
Budding Amethyst
Has a tiny chance to drop 0–3 Amethyst Nuggets.
Can now also drop itself when mined with a Silk Touch Pickaxe.

Changes:
- Abandoned Camp secret chests now contain one of 3 different Explorer Maps, leading to a Woodland Mansion, Trial Chambers, or Jungle Pyramid.
Note: Keep in mind that the change that fixed the long loading time for chests is not included in this version, so you may need to wait a few seconds after opening a secret chest.
- Abandoned Camps now generate further away from each other. The spacing has been increased from 34 to 37.
- Gunpowder now replaces Firework Rockets in Abandoned Camp common chest loot, matching the changes from 26.3 Snapshot 7.

The Echo Flint and Steel and Warden Portal system have been reworked!
Echo Flint and Steel
Re-added the Echo Flint and Steel under a new registry name:

The previous version was only used to activate the Warden Portal and did not function as a real Flint and Steel.
It now works as a proper Flint and Steel:
- Lights Campfires.
- Lights Soul Campfires.
- Ignites TNT.

Soul Fire created by the Echo Flint and Steel:
- Can survive on any solid block, even without Soul Sand or Soul Soil.
- Does not spread to nearby blocks.

Deeper Dark
- Re-added the old Warden Portal dimension with a new ID.
- Renamed the dimension ID from

Known issue: Due to a current Mcreator bug, some custom baby animals may experience rendering or scaling glitches.
This only affects custom mod entities, vanilla animals work as expected.

Additions
- Added a recipe for crafting Copper Horse Armor.

- Added a recipe to convert a Waxed Lightning Rod back into 3 Copper Ingots.
Changes
- Spears now feature updated in-hand textures and behave like their vanilla counterparts, including jab, charge, dismount, and lunge attacks.
- Increased the Magic Obsidian Spear attack speed from 0.62 to 0.83, as the previous value made it feel far too slow.
- Parched now drop 1–3 Sand, with higher amounts possible when using Looting.
- Nautilus now have a small chance to drop Pufferfish upon death.
- Zombie Nautilus and Camel Husks now drop Cooked Rotten Flesh when killed while burning or by a player using Fire Aspect.
- Updated Zombie and Husk loot tables to include the new Red Mushroom and Rabbit Foot drops when being ridden by Zombie Horses or Camel Husks.
- Zombie Horses now drop 2–3 Rotten Flesh instead of 0–2, matching the changes introduced in version 26.1.2.
- The Wandering Trader "buying trades for emerald" are now displayed only in the first section of the two buying slots.
- Sniffers now dig up the real Golden Dandelion.
