Dealmaker is currently in it's beta phase, so expect things to change constantly.
This mod is now being moved over to NeoForge to allow the use of MCreator's addon library.

Deal with other-worldly spirits to amass power inside of your worlds.
Using the Ritual Shrine, you can create powerful artifact-esc items.
Some items can be combined with another item to create a powerful "Cursed Item." Possible Items
- Firework Rocket + Fire Charge = Demon Firework
- Lets the player dash in the direction they are looking.
- Rabbit's Foot + Slime Ball = Monstrous Rabbit's Foot
- Launches the player into the air, also negates any fall damage while the item is on cooldown.
- Dice + Dragon's Breath = Fate Dice
- Allows the player to throw a Cursed Dice. When hitting an enemy, they are given a random effect, which is applied for a random duration. This die can only be used a select number of times before going on a randomly timed cooldown. After the cooldown finishes a random number of uses are restored.
- Uses: 3-6
- Cooldown: 100-300 Ticks (5-15 Seconds)
- Effects:
- Blindness
- Night Vision
- Slowness
- Speed
- Mining Fatigue
- Haste
- Effect Duration: 100-300 Ticks (5-15 Seconds)
- Allows the player to throw a Cursed Dice. When hitting an enemy, they are given a random effect, which is applied for a random duration. This die can only be used a select number of times before going on a randomly timed cooldown. After the cooldown finishes a random number of uses are restored.
- Glistering Melon + Chorus Fruit = Life Swap Melon
- Lets the player swap health with an entity of matching max health.
- Nautilus Shell + Blaze Powder - Eruption Nautilus Shell
- Shoves an entity away in the direction you are looking. (Launches more horizontally than vertically.)
Some of the above Cursed Items can be equipped in the Cured Item Curios slot, allowing them to be triggering using a keybind (default is V).

This creation of this mod was inspired by the animated series Hazbin Hotel. This mod is not associated with the show in any way, outside of inspiration.

With this being a re-build of the original CurseForge version, there are some features that have changed.
- Changes
- Dealing Alter is now an inventory-based tile entity. The ability to gain random deals has been removed, and is now replaced with a GUI to merge to items into a single Cursed Item. The block has also been renamed to the Ritual Shrine.
- I guess I removed Dimwood at somepoint after releasing 0.5, but some of it's blocks are still here, being the normal and stripped versions of the logs and wood, along with the planks. There are no crafting recipes however, as they have yet to be re-added.
- The Curios API is now a required dependency for this mod. Some Cursed Items (namely the Monstrous Rabbit's Foot and Demon Firework) can be equipped in the new Cursed Item Curios slot. Pressing V (default key) will activate the currently equipped Cursed Item.
- Some of the Cursed Items have new names.
- Advancements have not been re-added, and will likely be re-worked with the new direction of the mod.

This is a much smaller beta. I feel like I'm honing in on the important parts of the mod, so the next step will be finalizing some current elements and deciding what needs to stay, what needs to go, and what needs to be added. So the next Beta, or possible even the full release, will be a little ways out.
Aditions
- Added a new biome, the Dimwood Forest. (EXPERIMENTAL)
- The Dimwood Forest includes a new wood type, Dimwood.
- Adds a new advancement for entering the Dimwood Forest.
- Added a Boss enemy, Amalgor. Only spawnable in Creative. (EXPERIMENTAL)
- Added two new Power items, Health Swap and Force Push.
- Health Swap : When hitting an entity with the same amount of max health as you (20), your health swaps with the entities' health.
- Force Push : When hitting an entity, they get shoved in the direction you are looking in.
Changes
- Changes the way Power items are granted. Items are now placed in your inventory instead of being dropped on the ground.
- A lot of behind-the-scenes organizing of elements.

- Renamed the Dealing Station to Dealing Alter.
- Gave the Dealing Alter a custom model.
- Dealing Alter rarity was changed from Common to Uncommon.
- Dealing Alter tool break and tier properties, now requiring a stone pickaxe at minimum to break.
- Added a Creative Tab for the mod, all mod elements are now stored here.
- Added a two new items, the Dice and Cursed Dice.
- The Dice can be crafted from honeycomb, black dye, and white dye. Right-clicking with the Dice in hand will roll a random number between 1 and 6.
- The Cursed Dice is obtained by shift-clicking with a Dice at a Dealing Alter. The Cursed Dice will summon Cursed Dice projectiles, hitting an enemy with the projectile will inflict it with a random effect (full list in mod description). The Cursed Dice also has a random use count before going on a randomly timed cooldown.
- Added in three new advancements.

- Added a GUI menu for viewing currently active deals. The menu is bound to G by default. (Displays the numbers associated with each deal in three columns, left-to-right is deal 1, 2, 3. Top row is deal, bottom is condition. Numbers meaning can currently be found under the patch-notes for Beta 2.)
- Added two Curses. Curses have a 1/2 (50%) chance of being applied to a player after breaking a curse. Only one curse can be applied at a time. Curses can be cleansed by shift-clicking a Dealing Station while holding a Totem of Undying.
- Strange Craving: Eating any food that is not rotten flesh will apply a stacking Hunger. Eating rotten flesh removes any and all Hunger while also granting additional saturation and food points. While this cursed is applied, most mobs have a chance to drop rotten flesh.
- Weary: Decreases movement speed, attack damage, armor, and attack knockback by %10.
- Added three new advancements.
- Changed the advancements tab background.
- Changed the name of the "Out For Power" advancement to "Dealmaker".

Added two more effects that can be granted from deals, Fire Resistance and Speed.
Added two more ways to break deals, eating meat-based items and killing anything.
Added a new trade for the Cleric, available at the Journeyman level.
Added four advancements.
Added a new interaction with the Dealing Station. You can now bring items to channel power into. (Sneak-Click while holding the desired item to channel power into it.)
- Firework Rocket - Boosts the player in the direction they are looking in.
- Rabbit's Foot - Launches the player into the air. While the item is on cooldown, the player takes no fall damage.
There is now also a system in place, mainly for debugging, but it does allow you to view what deals you have made and what the associated conditions are. From the top down, the table will list the first three deals and then the conditons. Deals and Conditions Values:
Deals:
- 1 > Grants Resistance
- 2 > Grants Night Vision
- 3 > Grants Strength
- 4 > Grants Fire Resistance
- 5 > Grants Speed
Conditions:
- 1 > Don't Die
- 2 > Don't Sleep
- 3 > Don't Cheat Death
- 4 > Don't Eat Meat
- 5 > Don't Kill Anything
