This is a content pack for Vic's Point Blank which adds various guns and other weapons from Cyberpunk 2077 for you to use against anything! (Even your own chooms!)

DISCLAIMER: THIS CONTENT PACK REQUIRES VIC'S POINT BLANK 1.11.1 OR LATER! JEI or REI is also highly recommended for crafting recipes!

Currently there are over 50 weapons in the pack, and I will add more as I continue to work on this pack.

HOW TO INSTALL:
1: Download the content pack
2: If you haven't already, create a folder in your ".minecraft" folder called "pointblank" (The .minecraft folder is located in a different spot depending on your Operating System and/or Minecraft launcher. The following directories are the default locations for the .minecraft folder depending on your OS:

  • Windows: C:\users\\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft
  • Linux: ~/.minecraft
  • MacOS: ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft

3: Drag & drop the content pack into the "pointblank" folder inside your ".minecraft" folder

And you're good to go! Have fun shooting your enemies (and potentially your chooms) with preem weaponry!

FAQ:
Does this pack work on ? - If Vic's Point Blank works on your preferred version of Minecraft, the content packs you download should also work. Content packs are not version specific.

The game crashes with the error "Exception message: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Invalid feature type: Accuracy" - Update Vic's Point Blank to the latest version.

How do I craft X? - You should be getting item recipes when getting the materials for any of the craftable items. If you still can't figure it out, use Just Enough Items (JEI) or Roughly Enough Items (REI) to look up the recipes.

[Requires Vic's Point Blank 1.11.1 or later]

  • Overhauled the audio of every weapon in the pack. Each weapon now has 3-5 variations of each sound to keep the weapons from feeling same-y every time you use them.
  • Slight touch up of each weapon's animations and textures to make them a bit more consistent with my more recent work.
  • Replaced the text in one of the pack's advancements to better reflect the nature of the weapon

[Technical]

  • Audio files have been restructured so that each audio file is in a sub directory cooresponding to their respective weapon

[Known issues]

  • Skippy's inspect animations might cut out early. I have no clue why this happens though I will continue to look into it

  • Changed the firing animation of the Achilles, Liberty, and Unity
  • Increased the fire rate of the Achilles and Kyubi
  • Added new firing animations for the Unity, Liberty, and Malorian Arms 3516
  • Fixed the Kyubi default holographic sights not glowing properly when using shaders
  • Increased the resolution of the HPO Kanone Mk.77's scope stencil to 512x512

[Technical]

  • Removed maxAngularOffset from some PIP scopes to help prevent scope textures from disappearing during the firing animations of some weapons (they still might disappear, it feels like an issue with VPB. Not sure yet.)

Literally my best update yet, so good that I have to put version 2b.0 to signify that it is a straight overhaul to this gun addon! It is so good I have to label it as an Alpha release because labeling it as "Release" just isn't good enough for this.

  • Removed literally every gun and item from the pack as they were not actually from the game they claim to be from

  • Added the one true gun that Cyberpunk 2077 had; the toob! the toob is a gun so powerful, not even Adam Smasher could survive a single bullet from it, let alone 100 Adam Smashers. It should support any and all sight/scope attachments unlike the source material where it can only use a short sight.

  • Added the MA70 HB and x-MOD2 iconic variant
  • Added the Mk.31 HMG
  • Slight visual and behavioural touchup to the M2067 Defender

  • Fixed inconsistencies with texture names, preventing any problems with VPB ports to future Minecraft versions

  • Slightly reduced the PIP zoom of the HPO Kanone MAX Mk.77
  • Slightly increased the PIP zoom of the E305 Prospecta

  • Added "altZoom" to all PIP scopes to support VPB's new fallback scope rendering

[Known Issues]

  • If a gun's barrel disappears when equipping muzzle attachments, that gun's barrel will also disappear when equipping any Chimera mod (As far as I know, this applies to the AR-57 and the HJSH-18 Masamune)
  • The SO-21 Saika sight (and possibly other sights that use 2D planes) might appear flickery. I have no idea what causes this yet
  • Fallback scope rendering might look weird or not work correctly on the Hercules 3AX and NDI Osprey (This is primarily an issue with VPB which should be fixed soon)
