Create Kart - A Unique Create Expansion!

This addon introduces an all-new vehicle: a fully functional kart, whose design is entirely automatable using the advanced mechanisms of the Create mod. Build your kart using the complex tools and processes offered by the mod, and enjoy a unique style inspired by the various textures of Create's blocks.

Race with your friends, explore vast worlds on wheels, or simply move around in style with this whimsical new vehicle!

The mod was tested with create 6.0 and it work :)

2.3.0 - Color Update!

[Additions] 🎨 16 New Kart Colors 🛠️ 16 New Crafting Recipes to apply these colors
⚙️ Color Crafting Automation via create processes

🎨 Kart Recoloring:

  • You can now change the kart’s color by holding a dye and using Shift + Right-Click on the kart.
  • Added particle effects when recoloring the kart.

🛠️ New Configuration Setting:

  • "Minimal Overlay": Adds a more minimalist version of the low fuel popup.

🆕 Kart Overlay Toggle:

  • A new feature allows you to toggle the kart overlay on or off.
  • The default key to toggle the display is H (configurable Ingame).

🔧 Recovering the Kart with a Wrench:

  • It is now possible to retrieve a kart without destroying it.
  • Use Shift + Right-Click with a Create wrench to pick up the kart as an item.
  • Unconsumed fuel (coal) is also recovered when using this method.

[Changes] 🛞 Updated Kart Item:

  • The default kart item kart_item is now replaced with kart_red.
  • This will be the default color when crafting a kart.

📜 Reworked Item Descriptions:

  • Updated descriptions for all kart color variants.
  • They now follow the Create mod’s item description style, which was not the case before.

[Deletions]

  • No deletion

[Bug Fixes] 🐛 Performance Issue Fix:

  • Removed a debug line that caused game slowdowns after prolonged kart usage.
  • The issue was due to an excessive number of console messages accumulating over time.

🎨 Particle Improvements:

  • The textures for particles of items, blocks, and karts have been reworked for better consistency.
  • Instead of displaying raw model textures, particles now use custom-designed textures for a cleaner and more polished effect.

[Additional Information] 🎨 How to Recolor Your Kart:

  • Shift + Right-Click with a vanilla Minecraft dye in your main hand.
  • The kart now has a variant for each of the 16 Minecraft dyes.

🔧 How to Recover a Kart Without Destroying It:

  • Use Shift + Right-Click with a Create mod wrench to retrieve the kart as an item.
  • Unconsumed fuel (coal) is also recovered when using this method.
