Create: Turbines

WARNING: From Version 1.2.205 of the mod, ALL BLOCKS WILL DISAPPEAR FROM THE WORLD IF LOADED BECAUSE OF THE MOD RENAME

Old mod name used to be called "Steam Turbines" but now its just "Turbines" since i discovered that theres already a mod with that same name.

Make sure to prepare your builds before updating!!!!

Adds Turbines to Create, where you produce steam and the Turbines processes them and generates SU from the Turbine Shaft. Very Cool!!! :DDD

Report any bugs you find at the github repo of the mod.

Steam Turbines are meant to be a direct upgrade from Steam Engines, so this is mid-game to late-game SU generation. Whereas Lava Ducts Turbines are early-game SU generators.

All Machines

Machine Description
Steam Boiler Burns fuel to generate steam from water
Steam Pump Pulls steam from pipes and pushes to output
Pressurized Pipe Transports steam between machines
Steam Compressor Compresses steam for higher pressure and throughput
Steam Turbine Converts steam pressure into rotational force which is sent to Turbine Shaft
Turbine Shaft Aggregates rotational power from steam turbines
Lava Duct Shaft Aggregates rotational power from lava duct turbines
Lava Duct Turbine Converts water supplied from the Lava Duct Shaft into steam by using lava thats in contact which turns the turbines and generates power which is sent back to the Lava Duct Shaft
Steam Jet Thruster Uses steam to produce lots of thrust, use pump + compressor for more power
Directional Analog Gearshift Changes RPM and rotation direction based on redstone differential
Network Diagnoser Reads both RPM and SU. But also has configurable Kinetic Stress Impact for Stress Testing

SORRY FOR NO UPDATES FOR THE PAST 2 MONTHS, im so busy :(

as a bandage for the lack of Ponder, i made the tooltip summaries explain more on how to use them.

Ill try to do more additions, i just dont know what to add, please make suggestions in the Issues tab of the github repo

for now, theres like 3 blocks in the works if you use "/give @s turbines:" command

  • Because I found out that theres an already existing create addon of the same name
  • I can now create other types of turbines, no need to be restrained to just Steam Turbines specifically
  • Sorry but you need to prepare your builds before loading in with this mod since ITLL REMOVE ALL EXISTING BLOCKS BECAUSE OF THE RENAME

More fixes and adjustments

  • Made Pearlescent Dew recipe to require lava instead of water
  • Pearlescent Dew glows
  • Fixed Steam Turbine start up after unload/rejoin bug
  • Adjusted [SHIFT] summary tooltips to have more updated wording

Added more liquid fuel support to the boiler - specifically from TFMG. Also fixed the boiler consuming liquid fuel when theres no water
