Create: AeroStar
AeroStar is a fixed and expanded continuation of the Create: Northstar–Aeronautics Compatibility mod by Vladi-YT-Dev. It keeps the original idea — flying your Create: Aeronautics physics ships to Northstar's planets with a Dimensional Drive — but rebuilds the dimension-travel core so your ship actually survives the trip, and adds new tools for life in space.
Use AeroStar instead of the original compatibility mod — don't run both at the same time.
🔧 What it fixes
The original had several problems when a ship changed dimension (a Sable sub-level being re-created in another world). AeroStar fixes them:
- Lost ship components — redstone links, thruster/gimbal settings and control blocks no longer vanish on the jump. The block entities are now re-applied at the correct coordinates for the destination (accounting for its different build height), instead of landing in the wrong place and being dropped.
- Getting kicked out of the seat — you no longer pop out of your vehicle when you arrive or return. The seat is captured, recreated in the new dimension and you are re-mounted automatically.
- Falling / no zero-gravity on arrival — arriving in orbit no longer makes you drop like a rock.
- Ship rocketing away or spinning on arrival — the ship's velocity is reset on jump, so it settles instead of flinging itself across the world.
✨ What it adds
- Real zero-gravity in orbit — your ship floats freely in orbit, while you can still stand on the deck and walk around normally.
- Engineer's goggles overlay — look at the Dimensional Drive wearing Create's engineer's goggles (or the Aeronautics engineer helmet) to read the destination, speed, current altitude and the altitude required to launch.
- Orbital Physics Assembler — a new craftable variant of the Physics Assembler that can assemble/disassemble far from the ground, so you can build proper space stations in orbit (the normal assembler still refuses to disassemble mid-air).
🚀 How it works
Install the Dimensional Drive on a Create Aeronautics ship, insert a Northstar Star Map to choose a planet (or leave it empty for Earth orbit; planets also need an Interplanetary Navigator on the ship), then climb above the launch altitude. The drive saves your whole ship (its Sable sub-level), re-creates it in the destination dimension, carefully restores every block entity's data, brings your passengers and seat along, and preserves momentum — so you arrive with the same working ship you left with.
Requirements
Requires Create, Create: Aeronautics and Northstar 0.5.4 (see Dependencies).

AeroStar 1.0.1
- Fixed: Create super glue joints no longer come undone when changing dimension.
Glued sub-contraptions (e.g. retractable landing gear) now survive the jump.

Changelog (first release)
AeroStar 1.0.0 — first release
A fixed & expanded fork of Create: Northstar-Aeronautics Compatibility by Vladi-YT-Dev.
Fixes:
- Ships no longer lose block entities (redstone links, thruster/gimbal config,
control blocks) when changing dimension.
- Players are no longer ejected from their seat on arrival/return.
- No more fast-falling / missing zero-gravity when arriving in orbit.
- Ship velocity is reset on jump, so it no longer spins or rockets away.
- Destination name is now shown correctly on the Dimensional Drive.
Additions:
- Real zero-gravity in orbit while still being able to walk the ship.
- Engineer's goggles overlay on the Dimensional Drive (destination, speed,
altitude, required altitude).
- Orbital Physics Assembler: assemble/disassemble far from the ground to build
orbital space stations.
