Create Addon organiser (Or CAO for short) makes create addons get sorted into the main "Create" tab in a style similar to create aeronautics, with tons of customisability.

Why isnt there artworks for everything?

banner artwork dosent span to every addon / mod available as all banners are community made.

if you want to contribute banner art, create a PR or join the Discord and make a post.
if you want to request banner art, make a Feature request titled with (banner request(s)) and explain what banner you want made and a contributor might pick it up and make it. you can also ask in the Discord.

Have you ever been in creative mode with a ton of create mod addons and found it annoying that EVERY SINGLE ONE has its own tab? well, Worry no more! CAO sorts every create addon into sections contained within the base "Create" tab, and the "Create's Building Blocks" tab. it also leaves create aeronautics untouched.

As you can see, it reduces the clutter a ton. But not only does it look good naitively, it supports a TON of customization via the mod's config screen! You can change

The banner's color
The contrast box's color & transparency
The text color
a 2-tone option that looks like the create aero tab

And if you dont want a color for the tab section, you can upload your own image! it has to be 160x17, and the mod also has full vanilla texture animation support (just like create aero!)

If you have a lot of addons, there is a built in sidebar that allows you to quickly jump to them!

CAO also supports a lot of languages! this includes:

English (en_us)
Portuguese (pt_br)
Chineese (zh_cn)

Some being added include:

Russian (ru_ru)
French (fr_fr)
Spanish (es_es)

Can i use this in my video / modpack?

Yes! you dont even have to ask. you can always include this in modpacks / videos. for more detailed info, check the license.

Create Addon Organizer 1.4

Added gradient feature! you can use gradients on:

Text (Primary and secondary)
Banners
Outlines
Drop shadows

Gradient options for banners include:

2x2 Dither
4x4 Dither
Tricolor Dither
Quad-color Dither
Smooth

Added Outlines and made it so drop shadow is toggleable / colorable
Fixed many bugs.

Create Addon Organizer v1.3

Updated to FTS v5.0
Added a config option for the shaded text to control how high up it is
added 2 new builtin presets, Rainbow and Images.
Over 16 new banner arts (check credits for artists / new banners)
Multiple bugfixes
New "Text Banners" which can replace the text contrast box with an image that tiles based on how long the text is, allowing for textured text backrounds.
Online implementation of said text banners
WIP menu overhaul toggle-able in the settings (i would love your feedback!)
Fix of the 1st banner not working (originally builtin but now online)
prolly some more stuff i forgot about as always, make a issue on the github if you have any feature requests.

Create: Addon Organizer 1.2 New

Online contributor banners — banners are now fetched from a remote manifest and cached locally, so new contributor banners can be added without a mod update.
New animation when dragging sections — reordering sections now plays a smooth drag animation.
Banner manifest validation runs in CI, catching malformed manifest entries before they reach players. Fixes
Fixed crash when other mods (e.g. Starcatcher) register their own FancyTabSections sections (#6) ▎
Banner animations now resume from the frozen frame instead of restarting (#7)
Fixed section realignment issues (#1)
Safer tab icon handling (#4)
Long addon titles are now truncated with a hover tooltip (#5)
FancyTabSections is now embedded via jarJar — no separate download needed

Other
License clarified — modpack inclusion and GitHub contributions are now explicitly permitted; re-uploading elsewhere still requires permission.
The banner manifest parser now tolerates invalid JSON, malformed entries, and unsafe filenames instead of failing.

Update to 1.1

Fixed a bug where deleting all of the main tab sections would leave any main tab glitched, still having the old items from when it was organised (only with modernfix)
Added a screenshot function to dev mode
fixed the bottom row of pixels getting cut off in the preview and in the creative menu
laid down framework for a mainly online github dependent banner system
tweaked the color / image banner editing screens to be more clean
changed the highlight around the banner when selecting diffrent banner sections in the config
fixed a issue where elements would go out of the scrolling aera on main config menu
added preset renaming (ctrl+click) and importing / exporting
fixed an issue where you could order items above the naitive simulated tab
added a explanation to why simulated banners cant be edited
made it so you can add sections to the simulated tab
made renaming presets / banners not open a new menu, instead it just opens a text box with a check and X button.

Mod release!

Fixed several bugs from the previous versions added more sidebar styles, added sounds to the sidebar, and a texture for the button. made animated banner support better, with the auto detect function now correctly working as intended added Dev mode (secret) added the preset system, banner credits page, folder coloring, custom tab registration and adding (so you can organize any mod! i used farmer's delight as an example.) no tabs? probs some more small things i forgot about
