Coordinate Sender is a client-side Fabric mod that streamlines the process of sharing your location with other players on multiplayer servers. Instead of typing coordinates manually in chat for everyone to see, this mod provides a clean interface to send your precise location privately to specific players or groups.

Technical Details

Client-Side Only

Note: This mod only works on multiplayer servers and requires other players to be online to share coordinates with them.

Fixed:

  • Private messaging now works properly - coordinates are actually sent as private messages instead of being typed in chat
  • Resolved issue where /msg commands were appearing in public chat instead of executing
  • Improved command handling for better server compatibility

Technical Changes:

  • Fixed sendCoordinatesToPlayer() method to use proper command execution
  • Removed problematic /minecraft: prefix that was causing command failures
  • Streamlined command sending logic for more reliable private messaging

This update fixes the main issue where the mod would type /msg <player> <coords> in chat instead of actually sending a private message to the target player.
