Compact BedWars HUD

Compact BedWars HUD is a lightweight and customizable client-side mod designed for BedWars players.

It displays useful match information through clean HUD elements and adds optional cosmetic kill effects — without automating gameplay or changing server mechanics.

Features

TNT Timers

Displays a precise countdown above nearby primed TNT.

• Shows seconds and milliseconds
• Helps estimate the exact explosion time
• Only appears for nearby active TNT
• Position, scale and appearance can be customized

Resource Counters

Displays the BedWars resources currently stored in your inventory.

Supported resources:

• Iron
• Gold
• Diamonds
• Emeralds

Resources with a count of zero are automatically hidden to keep the HUD compact.

Improved Stack Overlays

Makes item stack amounts easier to see for:

• Blocks
• Resources
• Utility items
• Large item stacks

Round Kill Counter

Tracks your player kills during the current BedWars round.

• Automatically resets between rounds
• Resets when leaving or changing servers
• Improved round detection
• Optional effects for kills made by other players

Potion Timers

Displays active potion effects and their remaining duration.

This makes it easier to track effects such as Speed, Jump Boost and Invisibility.

Kill Animations

Adds configurable cosmetic animations whenever you defeat another player.

Available animations include:

• Thunder Strike
• Blood Moon
• Void Collapse
• Fire Pillar
• Ice Shatter
• Angel Ascension
• Grave Spawn

Animation settings such as particle amounts and effect intensity can be adjusted individually.

Kill Sounds

Play a configurable sound whenever you defeat another player.

Features include:

• Multiple built-in kill sounds
• Custom MP3 file support
• Random sound mode
• Sound previews
• Adjustable volume
• Option to disable kill sounds

Kill sounds and animations are completely client-side.

HUD Editor

Customize HUD elements directly through an interactive editor.

You can change:

• Position
• Scale
• Text color
• Accent color
• Background visibility
• Background color
• Resource labels
• Display messages

Each HUD element can be configured separately.

Configuration

The settings menu can be opened using:

• The Configure button inside Mod Menu
• The /cbh command
• The optional Compact BedWars HUD keybind

Mod Menu is optional and is only required for its Configure button.

The command and keybind work without Mod Menu.

Supported Minecraft versions:

Fabric builds require Fabric API.

Forge

Supported Minecraft version:

• Minecraft 1.8.9

Installation

Compact BedWars HUD is a client-side-only mod and does not need to be installed on the server.

Make sure the downloaded file matches both your:

• Minecraft version
• Mod loader

Fabric versions cannot be installed on Forge, and Forge versions cannot be installed on Fabric.

Fair Play

Compact BedWars HUD does not include:

• Combat automation
• Aim assist
• Extended reach
• Automatic clicking
• Movement hacks
• X-ray
• Automatic item usage
• Other unfair gameplay features

The mod only displays client-accessible information and adds optional cosmetic effects.

Server rules may differ, so always check the rules of the server you play on.
