Colered Crosshair

A mod that gives your crosshair some color with extra features! Mod menu is optional, fabric API is required if using fabric.

Features

  1. Change the color of your crosshair with colors you can chose from or input your own hex code for more customizibility.
  2. Change the color of your attack indicator
  3. Change the transparancy and size of your crosshair
  4. Change the color of your crosshair when you can hit an entity
  5. Compatible with the Crosshair Indicator mod (lets you change its color and transparancy too, NOT required)
  6. Commands (/cc) to edit settings without mod menu
  7. Charged Weapon Crosshair changes the color of your crosshair when your weapon is fully charged
  8. Crosshair indicator can also change its color based on certian conditions (change in mod menu) And more!

Quilt version is in beta and might be unstable, I recomend using the fabric version for full features and no bugs. On the NeoForge version, mod menu and crosshair indicator isnt avaliable, and on the Quilt version crosshair indicator isnt avaliable. Use /cc feedback or the feedback button in mod menu to send feedback.

With the new version, the crosshair indicator feature may be unstable as we have swapped from using crosshair indicator externally to internally. Please send feedback if you find any bugs.

This mod is a work in progress and only on version 1, any bugs or feature requests let me know!

Fixes for Minecraft 26.1.x

This release fixes the mod doing nothing at all on Minecraft 26.

  • The crosshair is colored again. The mixin config still declared compatibilityLevel: JAVA_21, but the Minecraft 26 build compiles to Java 25 bytecode. Mixin rejected both mixins at load time (Class version 69 required is higher than the class version supported ... (JAVA_21 supports class version 65)) and silently skipped them, so nothing was ever recolored. The compatibility level is now derived from the compile target, so it can't fall out of sync again.
  • The Mod Menu settings screen opens again. The Minecraft 26 build shipped a placeholder that just returned the screen you were already on, so the Config button appeared to do nothing. The full settings screen has been ported to the Minecraft 26 GUI API and is wired back up to both the Mod Menu button and /cc settings.

Crosshair indicator is no longer required, new ability for crosshair indicator feature to also show for entities not just other players, and small fixes.
