🎯 Skill-Based Catching — Inspired by Pokémon GO

Cobblemon Go Catch adds a fully skill based PokéBall throwing system inspired by Pokémon GO to Minecraft with Cobblemon.

No more pure RNG throws — now your aim and timing matter.

When you hold a Poké Ball and target a wild Pokémon, a holographic capture ring appears. Time your throw correctly and aim inside the ring to earn Nice, Great, or Excellent bonuses that increase your catch rate.

🟢 Dynamic Capture Ring

  • Appears only when holding a Poké Ball

  • Only shows for wild Pokémon

  • Fully visible through Pokémon models and blocks

  • Always faces the player

  • Positioned cleanly in front of the Pokémon

  • Continuously shrinks

🎯 True Skill-Based Throw Detection

  • Grading is based on your crosshair position at the exact moment of throw

  • Crosshair must be inside the visible ring

  • Outside the ring = normal throw (no bonus the ring will become white)

  • Curve ball throw = Move mouse in a circle motion to get sparkles then throw

  • Nice

  • Smaller ring = higher reward.

  • Each grade provides configurable catch bonuses.

🌈 Difficulty-Based

  • Faster ring speed for tougher/higher leveled Pokémon

🕹️ How To Use

  1. Hold any Poké Ball (main hand or offhand).

  2. Look at a wild Pokémon (default range: 8 blocks, configurable).

  3. Watch the shrinking capture ring.

  4. Line up your crosshair inside the ring.

  5. Throw at the right moment.

  6. If your aim is inside the ring when you release, you earn a graded throw.
