Clapboards is a client and server mod for the Fabric and Quilt mod loaders that adds several kinds of wooden clapboards. The mod comes with a bundled resourcepack with textures in line with Minecraft's pre-1.14/pre-Jappa textures, also known as Programmer Art.
The mod does not strictly require Continuity, but if you want the clapboards to connect together and look, you know, like clapboards, you'll need it.

If Condensed Creative is present, all clapboard variants will be collapsed into a single group.
Known Issues
- Versions for 1.21+ do not have a Russian localization from Pale Oak Wood. I don't know Russian, if anyone who does would be willing to provide one, put in a PR!
- On 1.19.4, when installed alongside Condensed Creative, the creative menu will show Bamboo and Cherry clapboards even if 1.20 experimental features are not enabled for that world. As far as I can tell, this isn't something I can fix on my end, it's a case Condensed Creative just hasn't accounted for yet.
Is that it?
Yep, that's it. I find that block mods tend to have so much overlap that if you install more than one -- which is likely because they also have unique blocks -- you'll end up with a ton of overlap that clutters your creative inventory, stonecutter, or worse, creates conflicting crafting recipes. While I'm not aware of any other mod that adds clapboards, I made Clapboards a single-feature mod because I think that's how these things generally ought to be done. It adds clapboards, and that's all it will ever do. If I want to add another block, that'll be a new mod. Maybe, if I get to more than maybe 8 mods, I'll consider combining them, but I'll have to carefully consider options to mitigate overlap.
Support
I hope to keep the mod up-to-date, but I made the mod in a couple of days for my own use and I'm pretty busy and I tend to hop between projects often. However, anyone is free to update or expand on the mod if they want. I will not be making a Forge version, but others are welcome to.

New:
Updated to 1.21.4 I made this mod the summer before going to college, and so I've been quite busy and wasn't able to find time to update the mod until now. So now it works on 1.21.4, in which Mojang futzed with how blocks are registered. And I had no idea what I was doing before, and so I certainly don't know. But I got it working.
Pale Oak Clapboard
Replacing the Painted Clapboard, there is now a new Pale Oak Clapboard block with an appropriate texture. This does mean that any world with Painted Clapboard from a previous version of the mod will now no longer work, which is why we're now on v2.0.0.
Changes:
Painted Clapboard removed.
Painted Clapboard has been replaced with a clapboard for the new white wood block, Pale Oak Clapboard. No need to have two different white clapboards. This does mean that any world with Painted Clapboard from a previous version of the mod will now no longer work, which is why we're now on v2.0.0.Mexican Spanish translation fixed.
Apparently when I made the Mexican Spanish translation I just royally messed it up, and Cherry Clapboards were called Crimson Clapboards and vice-versa. I fixed that for this version!Condensed Creative support still exists.
The data required for Condensed Creative support to work is still in the mod, but seeing as Condensed Creative hasn't been updated to 1.21.4 yet, it isn't particularly useful at the moment. But as soon as they update it should work, unless in updating they change their data structure.

The mod now has support for Condensed Creative. If Condensed Creative is installed, all clapboards will be collapsed into a Clapboards group in the creative inventory.
Changes:
- Cherry and Bamboo clapboards can now be crafted
Cherry Clapboards are crafted as you would expect, Bamboo Clapboards are crafted using Bamboo instead of Sticks. - Cherry and Bamboo clapboards will now no longer be present unless the 1.20 Update experimental feature is enabled.
- No longer an MCreator mod!
This shouldn't have any effect on players, really, but it means it's slightly less inefficient data-wise and I'll be able to port it to more versions.
