Installation Requirements

Chemica runs on NeoForge and requires you install Forge for 1.20.1 or NeoForge for 1.21.1 before adding Chemica to your mods folder.
Additionally, you will need to install Create and The Factory Must Grow for Chemica to work.

JEI and Jade are also recommended.

About

Chemica is an addon for Create: The Factory Must Grow that aims to implement real-world chemistry and industrial processes in a fun and meaningful way. It brings an array of new materials, items, fluids, gases and recipe trees.

Some of Chemica's current content includes:

  • Creation of new types of plastic like PVC and Epoxy Resin
  • Production and use of multiple types of acid
  • Carbon Fiber processing tree
  • Many new ores, metals, fluids & fuels
  • Chemical production from various materials


... and much more planned for the future!

Development

This project is still early in development and content is subject to change in future releases. If you have any ideas or suggestions, or would like to report a bug you can do so here, in the Chemica discord. Once built up, the project will be open source and will (hopefully) have a full wiki.

Small fixes before bigger changes:

  • Added High Cetane Diesel & its respective engine cylinder
  • Fixed yeast recipe (again)
  • Few changes to fuel stats

Known bugs:

Some fuels won't get consumed with some engine types. I am looking for a fix for this, but for now adding a turbo to your engine will start consuming fuel and producing carbon dioxide.
