Older Versions

All versions below 1.19.1 are unsupported. Use these at your own risk. They can only be retrived through the mod's repository in GitHub.

How to use it

ChatUtils is a very simple mod, so it's also very simple to use. By default, hovering received messages in chat should show a tooltip with a preview of what is going to be copied. To copy it to clipboard, simply click the message.

All features can be enabled/disabled in the mod settings. You can find these in the mod menu.

  • Added Japanese and Polish translations (thanks @kuragehimekurara1 and @PouekDEV)
  • Fixed color codes on anti spam's spam count indicator
  • Fixed broken settings (antispam not disabling at all and inverted color code copying)
  • Add a default shortcut for macOS (instead of ctrl, command)
  • Fix chat history not saving latin characters properly (thanks @PouekDEV once again)

Patches

  • Completely remade how pressing messages works, making it possible to copy messages from any area in the line (even where there's no text) and allowing the user to now be forced to hold a key before copying messages (configurable and optional);
  • Remade how tooltips work under a similar approach as above;
  • Made alerts less intrusive and now configurable (you may disable them if you want, but they are way less intrusive now and use tooltips for them, no sound).

Minor Changes

  • Copying to clipboard now uses Minecraft's clipboard methods;
  • Minor bug fixes.
