With my pull request to Carry On being accepted and version 2.2.6+ being released that now includes this fix, this mod is no longer required! If you crash when attempting to carry a block (or sneak-right-clicking in general), all you need to do is remove this compat mod from your modpack.

I appreciate you all using it in the meantime! 💚

Old (outdated) Description

This mod simply patches Carry On to make it possible to pick up blocks like chests and other containers from Create Aeronautics simulated contraptions (or any sub-level from Sable). Easily move your storage between the boring static surface, and your sweet mobile bases!

This patch is similar to my other mod Carry On + Valkyrien Skies Compat, but more generic, and for a newer version. It also includes some changes that prevent Create Aeronautics blocks from being able to be picked up.

With an even easier fix, here's hoping that will make it into Carry On, so everyone can benefit from it and this patch mod is no longer required. (Consider supporting it with a thumbs up.) It got merged! 🎉 But I'm still waiting for a new version of Carry On to release that includes the fix.

Known Issues

  • Create Aeronautics blocks can be picked up, reportedly causing crashes. Fixed in v1.1.0.
  • Picking up players and placing them on a simulated contraption teleports them to weird cordinates / causes the server to hang and crash. For now, please disable pickupPlayers in config/carryon-common.toml. (issue)
