Warning!
This project is still under development, so there is a high chance that it is going to have a lot of bugs and errors. Please report if you find one, this way I can fix it. Thank you.
- This is a lightweight mod that adds a new block to the game and changes the way you acquire Campfire and Soul Campfire Blocks.
- Now, instead of crafting campfires (you can enable the recipes back through config) on a Crafting Table, you will need to build them using Campfire Logs and a piece of Coal/Charcoal or Soul Sand depending on the Campfire.
Tutorials
How to build a Campfire
- Since you can't craft campfires, you now need to use Campfire Logs.
- Campfire Logs are blocks that can be placed together, like Candles or Seapickles from Vanilla Minecraft.
- You can craft Campfire Logs using a Stonecutter and any type of log, other than stems / nether logs.
Please check the Wiki for the full tutorial, because I don't want to write it all over again and it takes a lot of space (一_一)
How to configure this mod
This mod supports the Cloth Config API. A development tool that helps modders create config options that users can change to modify the mod. FAQ
Will you port this mod to Forge?
I am a new, inexperienced developer and in my opinion, Fabric is much easier to code than Forge. Therefore a Forge Port is not planned for now but maybe in the future. (If you want to port this mod to Forge, you can, I would be glad.)
Can I use this project in X?
This project is licensed under MIT License, a free and open-source license, which means you can use this project in nearly every way you want. But please remember to credit me if your project is public.
Will you port this mod to below 1.17?
Even though the programming language between 1.17 and 1.16 is not so different, I am still an inexperienced developer and I don't have much time in my personal life. So, I am sorry but the answer is no.

Changes
• Made various changes to the config options and categories.
• When chopped, logs drop 1 to 3 Campfire Logs (the amount is random), instead of dropping only 1.
Additions
• Added compatibility with Oh The Biomes You'll Go.
- You can build two new Campfires, Boric Campfire, which requires Brim Powder and Cryptic Campfire, which requires Cryptic Magma Block.
- Those Campfires also have their own config options similar to Vanilla Campfire's configs.
- Added chopping feature support for Oh The Biomes You'll Go logs and woods.

- Campfire Logs can now be gathered by left-clicking a log/log-like block with an Axe on your hand while crouching.
- Players can now turn Campfire Logs into Sticks by left-clicking onto them with an Axe, while crouching.
Note
Buildable Campfire currently isn't compatible with the new 1.18.2 version, sorry. It looks like there are some changes made to the game's tag feature, which is something this mod uses. I will try to update it as fast as I can but for now the highest compatible version is still 1.18.1. Have a nice day :]

- Campfire Logs can now be placed in different directions depending on where the user looks.
- Players can now pick up Campfire Logs piece by piece by right-clicking with an empty hand or a Campfire Log on them.
- Added tooltip for the Campfire Log which can be changed through config.

- Rewrote some of the code to make the mod work better.
