Biome Plus is a Minecraft mod that expands the game world with enhanced biomes, new mobs, unique structures, decorative blocks, and experimental items. The mod is designed to bring both nostalgia and innovative gameplay elements into your adventures.
🌲 Added Biomes
Birch Forest Plus – A lush forest enriched with new flowers and roaming deer.
Forest Plus – An expansive forest with tall oak trees and a diverse terrain.
Old Growth Birch Forest Plus – A denser birch forest with imposing, ancient trees.
Original Biome – A nostalgic biome inspired by Minecraft Classic, featuring the iconic terrain and color palette of the early game with simplified yet charming block textures.
🏚️ Added Structures
Ruined Temple (Birch Forest) – A mysterious, crumbling temple hidden deep within the birch woods.
Abandoned House – A deserted house guarded by an Illusioner boss.
Nether Structures – Small ruins scattered throughout the Nether, offering rare loot like Balloon Leather.
Cherry Trees – Scattered cherry trees that add vivid color and variety to the landscape.
🐾 Added Mobs
Fawn – A gentle creature that wanders the Birch Forest Plus.
Balloon (Nether) – A Nether mob that drops Balloon Leather, essential for repairing the magical amulet.
Steve and Alex – Special human-like entities that can be obtained by converting zombies and skeletons using Nether Star Fragments and Bone Fragments, respectively, with Steve acting as a protector against hostile mobs.
🪵 New Blocks
Log Hollow – A decorative log block featuring a hollow core, available in various wood types (e.g., Oak Log Hollow, Birch Log Hollow), perfect for detailed builds and immersive forest designs.
🎵 Additional Features
Music Discs – All structures have a chance to contain unique music discs, including tracks that are rare or were previously unavailable.
⚙️ Experimental Blocks & Items
The mod also introduces a list of experimental blocks and items which are only available in Creative mode under the Operator section. These experimental features are intended for testing and advanced building, allowing players to experiment with new gameplay mechanics without affecting the survival experience.

- Introduced the baby version of the Fawn.
Wood Flammability
- Wood and leaves are now flammable, enhancing gameplay realism.
Experimental Block: Mushroom Shelf
Added a new experimental decorative block.
Designed for creative builds and testing purposes.
Violet Cherry Wood Set
Introduced the new Violet Cherry tree and its corresponding wood set.
Includes planks, logs, stripped logs, stairs, slabs, fences, and doors.
Violet Cherry Grove (new biome)
- A vibrant new biome where Violet Cherry trees generate naturally.
Abandoned Well (new structure)
Added a new rare structure: the Abandoned Well.
Contains unique loot and hidden secrets.
New Music Disc
A new music disc has been added.
Can be found exclusively inside the Abandoned Well structure.

v1.5 Crab Model Update: Adjusted the size of the crab and its claw to better match each other.
Gray Grass Hoe Interaction: Gray Grass can now be harvested more easily using a hoe.
Gray Grass Rarity: Changed Gray Grass rarity from Common to Epic.
Crab Behavior: Reduced crab movement speed and jump height.
Grass Block Drops:
Gray Grass and Original Grass now only drop themselves when mined with Silk Touch.
Without Silk Touch, both will drop Dirt instead.
