Better Leather

Welcome to Better Leather!

Currently, this mod adds three new methods of acquiring leather, and one new way to use it.

Acquisition methods:

1. Combine four rotten flesh into the new "patchwork flesh" item, then smelt it into leather.

2. Combine 6 of any combination of mushrooms- overworld or nether- into patchwork flesh, then smelt it into leather.

3. Pigs now have a chance to drop leather when killed.

Uses:

1. Saddles can now be crafted with a lead in the upper left, three leather in the middle row, and one iron ingot in the bottom center.

Future Updates Planned:

• Improvements to leather armor (possibly exclusive enchantments)

• Steel-toed boots, with the strength of iron but the ability to walk on powdered snow

• Support for more Minecraft versions.

• Even more? Who knows!
