Backwoods is a liminal-horror adventure mod for NeoForge and Forge. Enter a decayed wooden world and navigate a network of connected dimensions: Backwoods, The Grain, The Still, The Familiar, Rotting, and Loss.
Face Woodbound entities like Splinters and their variants, stalking, pathing, and hunting through terrain. Use progression items such as fragments, draughts, geodes, and effigies to survive escalating routes and recover control.
Not one of those ARG slop, alpha version slop, jumpscare slop mods that spams your chat with obfuscated text and keeps teleporting you to 420 sahurillion dimensions within 6 or 9 seconds and has .jar in the name.
