🌱 AutoSow – Auto Harvest & Replant

Tired of planting seeds over and over? 🌾 AutoSow is a lightweight Forge mod for Minecraft 1.21.x that lets you right-click fully grown crops to harvest and replant instantly! Also supports dispenser automation for many plants 🤖

✨ Features

  • 🌾 Supported plants: Wheat, Carrots, Potatoes, Beetroots, Torchflower, Nether Wart, Cocoa Beans, Melons 🍉, Pumpkins 🎃, Sweet Berries 🍇

  • ⚙ Configurable – enable/disable per crop, toggle seed consumption, and more

  • 🤖 Dispenser support – use dispenser(with shears) to harvest melons, pumpkins and sweet berries

  • 🪓 Works with empty hand or correct planting item

  • 🎯 Special handling:

    • Melons → slices or whole blocks (config)
    • Pumpkins → always whole blocks
    • Sweet Berries → harvest based on growth stage

🍉 Melon Support

  • Added dispenser support for harvesting melons when containing shears.
  • Shears lose durability after each harvest.
  • Added config option WHOLE_MELON_DROP — if true, dispenser drops whole melons instead of slices.

🎃 Pumpkin Support

  • Added dispenser support for harvesting pumpkins with shears.
  • Pumpkins always drop as whole items (no config toggle needed).
  • Shears lose durability after each harvest.

🍓 Sweet Berries Support

  • Added dispenser harvesting for sweet berry bushes.
  • Works for ages 2–3:
    • Age 2 → drops 1–2 berries.
    • Age 3 → drops 2–3 berries.
  • Bush is set back to age 1 after harvesting.
  • Shears lose durability after each harvest.

🛠 General Improvements

  • Added direct-to-inventory harvesting option for sweet berries and other crops.
  • Improved replanting logic for all crops to handle block validity (e.g., cocoa still requires jungle wood, nether wart requires soul sand).
  • Fixed several potential bugs with incorrect replant when using dispensers.
