This is a simple mod that adds a keybinding to feed nearby entities.

Go to Options => Controls => Key Binds and locate the Auto Feeder category to set a key bind.

Once set you should be able to simply use the new key bind to feed any nearby entities when holding food.

Config Screen

General Config

  • Mod Enabled - Enable or disable the mod
  • Feed Babies - Enable or disable feeding babies
  • Feed Adults - Enable or disable feeding adults
  • Feeding Range - The range in which to feed entities
    • The range is in blocks and the area it creates is a cube centered around the player
  • Enable Interval - Enable or disable the interval
    • If enabled, the mod will only feed entities every x seconds
    • If disabled, the mod will feed entities every time the key is pressed/held
  • Click Interval - Time between the "sets" of clicks
  • Click Cooldown - Time between the click in each "set"

Listing Config

  • Listing Mode - Choose between blacklist or whitelist mode
    • Blacklist mode will exclude entities from feeding
    • Whitelist mode will only include entities from feeding
  • Blacklist - List of entities to exclude from feeding
  • Whitelist - List of entities to include from feeding

I believe there is a timing issue with feeding as it is slightly slower, I will try to fix that by next update

Bugfix <3

  • Fixed a small error that could cause the mod to crash
  • Updated to 1.21.2, 1.21.3, and 1.21.4
Spoiler The mod seemed to crash on 1.21.2(.3 & .4) in testing when feeding entities but when looking over the code it seems to have been an edge case, that has been fixed but this version of the mod only will support 1.21.2+ as a result <3

New Config Options

  • Feeding Range
    • A value from 0-5
      • 0 feeds any entities on your current block
      • 5 feeds any entities in a 5x5 cube around the player
  • Enable Interval
    • Enables/disables interval clicking
  • Click Interval
    • How many seconds to wait between each click
      • This is only activated when holding down the auto feed keybind
      • When the key is releassed and repressed the cooldown resets

Quality Changes

  • Also updated the Listing Mode config to make it more clearer, it now is labeled which mode it is currently on (whitelist/blacklist).

Other Changes

  • Fixed a bug where the config option Disable Mod wasn't used
  • Fixed a possible bug with the mod requiring a higher Cloth Config on version 1.19.3
  • Version bump from 1.3.0 -> 1.4.0
