This mod add new Ad Astra dimension and new mechanic: asteroid drifting in space ship!

About

You survive on a spaceship and travel through asteroids and other space objects to loot. The main goal is to reach the edge of the solar system. But to do this, you'll need to single-handedly process space rocks, salvage wrecked ships, trade with passing ships, and defend yourself against space pirates. But are you alone on your own ship in this dark space?

The mod is currently in beta and will be developed for a long time. The mod requires Fabric API and Ad Astra

How to

To get asteroid field you need:

  • Any Ad Astra roket tier 2 or more;
  • 64 Iron Plates, 32 Steel Plates, 32 Desh Ingots, 32 Desh Plates;
  • Launch a Roket, get Karman Line, select Asteroids in menu and build a station.

Or you can use op command:

/adastra planets

Spaceship Elements

Ship Controller

Using the controller, you can choose the path your ship will take. At the end, there will always be an asteroid, another ship, a station, a teapot, or any other space object. Along the way, an event may occur that can stop the ship, damage it, or otherwise interact with the ship and the player. WIP

Ship Engine

Launching a ship is impossible without an engine or without sufficient fuel in the tank. Don't forget about engine nozzles either. Their number directly affects maximum speed.

Rework Alert System

Add Detector Block: send alert when powered by redstone signal. Detector Edit Screen Alert Sound Edit Screen All Alerts now display in inventory seperated from Mob Effects. Alerts display in inventory with mob effect Alerts now has sound effects. Ship events also send alerts (still buggy).

Minor changes

Fix Engine Nozzle max speed. Now Distnace betwean rings from ship config apply on max speed. Add new asteroids with ship events: Field of large and small asteroids. Asteroid with dangers

Rework Engine.

  • Fuel is now a recipe that can be changed in the configs. Fuel affects consumption and sludge creation.
  • Oil, cryo and bio sludge that accumulate on the engine depending on the different fuels.
  • The gray arrow in the engine measures the max speed, taking into account the sludge.
  • Particles on the engine nozzles. I'll work on them further.
  • Optimized the fuel tank.

Other features

  • New crop - Martian Mandrake. Grow on Martian sand, fertilize with meat or water. When hrvesting, it can jump away and hide in a chest.
  • Leaves can be recycle into oxygen in Cryo Freezer.
  • Add Loot Tables and Tags data generation.

In this update:

  • Add Moon Farm Block - space version of minecraft farmland. Put soil, put nutrients, place the seeds, wait for grow. Use hoe to remove nutrients or make suitable for seeds, use shovel to remove soil.
  • Add acacia, birch, cherry, dark_oak, oak, jungle, spruce saplings growable on Moon Farm. It use water and bone meal to growth.
  • Add Frost Wheat. Like regular wheat but while growing take heat from atmosphere. It cause water to condense and freeze into snow around it.
