Select a class from one of 5 types.

Pick CHARGE classes to annihilate those in your way or TANK your way to victory. SUPPORT your friends or AMBUSH your enemies. Or perhaps you want to UTILIZE what you're given instead?

The addon aims to add in a tiny bit of RPG aspect to Minecraft, featuring a functional allying system as well as simple but fun customizable "classes" with varying traits, able to cater to all sorts of playstyles.

Also no, you don't need Origins Classes.

-Can I add in other Origins add-ons/datapacks with this?

While it is possible, I don't recommend adding other Origins add-ons/datapacks along side this, as it is meant to be a stand-alone addon. It may cause problems with the AREPEEGEE addon and could break some stuffs/make stuffs busted.

I'm not stopping you, though.

-How can I reset my stats?

Stats are able to be reset through an item called "Tattered Pen", more information can be found on the Trello.

-Can classes' DMG and base stats be modified?

Yes, they can. I tried my best to code it in a way so you can easily change numbers for balancing and what not. Please contact me through Discord (helian12), if you need any additional help.

-Are TANK classes coming?

yes they will please give me more time coding four classes is tiring theres only 2 people working on this rn

-Will there be more classes?

Yes actually! I'm planning on adding a bunch of classes in waves, so stay tuned!!!

Universal Changes

  • (+) Talent Reset Pen recipe now works with any sherd type
  • (+) Mana heal on weapon hit +30 -> +35
  • (=) Tank Reinforcement Talent reworked : +1 Armor and 4s +1 Armor (max 15% of max HP) when DMG is taken.
  • (=) Mana Potion crafting recipe tweaked, now uses less EXP bottles but more amethyst shards
  • (=) Talent Grimoire recipe item placement tweaked

Mage

  • (=) PRIMARY now spawns correctly at your crosshair
  • (-) SECONDARY's Lethal Shock no longer affected by Support Talent (this was unintended)

Paladin

  • (-) Faith Piercer Perk true DMG 1.5 -> 1
  • (!) Fixed Heaven Retribution PRIMARY giving you support stacks

  • (+) SECONDARY hitbox 2x2 -> 2.25x2.25
  • (+) Dark Puddle Perk true DMG 1 -> 2
  • (+) Dark Puddle Perk knockback slightly increased
  • (+) Shadow Execute Perk mana steal 30 -> 40
  • (+) Shadow Execute no longer resets wait duration upon landing an ability (unintended)
  • (+) Grim Preparations Perk CD reduction -2s -> -3s
  • (+) Abyss Silhouette silhoutte duration 1.75s -> 2.25s
  • (-) Shadow Execute Perk wait time 2s -> 4s
  • (-) SECONDARY’s debuff duration 10s → 4s

Hey! Sorry for the lack of updates, I promised myself to finish v1.5 by the end of last month, but due to Origins changing how things are coded and how it's taking forever to be updated, updates to AREPEEGEE is halted until Origins updates. (Plus.. I DON'T want to recode the entirety of v1.5, it has a bunch of stuffs..)

For now, enjoy this side update, including some balance changes, VFXs rework and some bug fixes. Feel free to leave feedbacks!

CHARGE

Mage

  • (+) PRIMARY velocity further increased, range increased
  • (-) PRIMARY hitbox 1.5x1.5 → 1x1
  • (=) small firebolt PRIMARY now glows in the dark
  • (=) SECONDARY now will always hit the nearest surface below it (you can snipe people from above with SECONDARY now, essentially)
  • (=) SECONDARY VFX reworked (again)
  • (=) Arcane Sovereign Perk name changed to Lethal Shock

Some people said Mage's PRIMARY was too slow, so now it's a bit better to use...

SUPPORT

Paladin

  • (+) PRIMARY projectile deflection strength increased
  • (+) SECONDARY now heals allies 2 HP when they’re healed for the first time
  • (+) Saving Grace Perk 4s [WEAKNESS] -> 3s
  • (=) PRIMARY VFX reworked (again but i promise its WAY BETTER NOW)
  • (=) SECONDARY VFX (along with its variants) reworked
  • (=) Faith Piercer Perk now has clearer VFXs when activated

Paladin's PRIMARY was unsatisfying and underwhelming to use, so it received a few buffs to its support

AMBUSH

Rogue

  • (+) Grim Preperations Perk now gives -2s CD on the casted ability when the perk is triggered
  • (-) Shadow Execution Perk DMG bonus +100% → +60%
  • (=) PRIMARY got a shockwave VFX cuz its cool
  • (=) SECONDARY VFX reworked (it has animations now !!)
  • (=) Shadow Execute Perk now has clearer VFXs when activated

Rogue was incredibly busted with its damage output, able to halve armor as well as nuking with its perk, so Shadow Execution received a huge nerf Grim Preperations was also underused due to its nicheness, so it received a slight buff

UTILITY

Farmer

  • (+) miniscrow SECONDARY DMG hitbox 2.25x2.25 -> 2.75x2.75
  • (+) miniscrow SECONDARY DMG 6 -> 7
  • (+) miniscrow [WEAKNESS] 4s → 6s
  • (+) Alternative Harvest Perk pull strength slightly buffed
  • (=) PRIMARY got a shockwave VFX added to it for better hitbox visualization
  • (=) SECONDARY scarecrows has been remodeled (their expressions are animated too)
  • (=) Alternative Harvest Perk now has clearer VFXs when activated
  • (!) Fixed a bug where scarecrows become stupid after another player uses Mage's SECONDARY

Farmer's Minicrows were underwhelmingly weak, able to only inflict the same duration of [WEAKNESS] as its original variant, deals too low damage and was too easy to dodge. Hopefully these buffs make the ability worth it to use.

Mage

  • (+) PSV buffed : reduce CD by empowering attacks, class doesn't use the Mana system but instead uses hunger. Always lose hunger whenever an ability is casted, but wielding a book reduces the exhaustion
  • (+) PRIMARY velocity increased, range remains the same
  • (-) Increased hunger cost on all abilities
  • (-) Base Ranged and Melee DMG nerfed to -30%
  • (-) PRIMARY can be blocked
  • (-) SECONDARY DMG 6 DMG (both empowered and not) → 2 DMG (unempowered) and 4 DMG (empowered)
  • (=) Updated visual effects

SUPPORT

Paladin

  • (+) PRIMARY deflection strength tripled
  • (+) PRIMARY no longer blocks yours and allies' projectiles
  • (+) PRIMARY now also block classes' projectile abilities
  • (-) Base Ranged and Melee DMG nerfed to -25 and -40% respectively
  • (-) PRIMARY now cannot block projectiles from enemies coming inside of the AoE
  • (-) PRIMARY’s CD 20s → 25s
  • (-) PRIMARY’s healing +1 HP → +0.5 HP
  • (-) SECONDARY’s CD 14s → 24s
  • (-) SECONDARY's [ABSORPTION] 6s -> 1.5s
  • (=) Updated visual effects, hopefully less laggy now

AMBUSH

Rogue

  • (+) PSV functionality recoded to be more fluid
  • (+) PRIMARY’s hitbox 2.5x2.5 → 2.75x2.75
  • (+) PRIMARY’s IV [SPEED] → V [SPEED]
  • (+) SECONDARY reworked : slashes twice, first slash to halve armor and second slash to deal dmg based on that halve
  • (-) Base Melee and Ranged DMG nerfed to -40 and -80% respectively
  • (-) PRIMARY’s CD 5s → 8s
  • (-) PRIMARY can be blocked
  • (-) SECONDARY’s CD 6s → 10s
  • (-) SECONDARY can be blocked
  • (-) SECONDARY’s hitbox 2.5x2.5 → 2x2
  • (-) PRIMARY’s [UNTARGETABLE] 1.75s → 1s
  • (=) Updated visual effects

UTILITY

Farmer

  • (+) PSV buffed, now (should) works with (i hope) any crop blocks/items, increased drop rate, singular items like wheat and etc is now affected
  • (+) PRIMARY’s 2s [WEAKNESS] → 2.5s
  • (+) SECONDARY reworked : throw a projectile that spawns in a scarecrow which hydrates farmland and pulls in all enemies within a radius, inflicts weakness to those really close to it
  • (-) PSV no longer affects pumpkins and watermelons
  • (-) PRIMARY’s CD 7s → 17s
  • (-) PRIMARY’s hitbox 4x4 → 3x3
  • (-) SECONDARY’s pull hitbox 25x25 → 8x8/4x4 (i was not sane when i first made farmer)
  • (=) SECONDARY is now aimable
  • (=) Updated visual effects
