Dependencies

This mod uses YACL as it's config library of choice. Make sure you install the correct version to prevent crashing.

Notes

If you are using Lunar Client, some features will not work as intended. If you find anything else not working, please report it on the GitHub and we will try to fix it. Do note that, Lunar does take priority in some places for enabled/disabled settings.

Feature

Feature Name Identifier Description
All all Turn on all of these features.
Miss Penalty miss_penalty Turn on/off the swing miss penalty.
Left Click Item Usage left_click_item_usage Turn on/off the ability to start using a item whilst holding left click.
Mining Item Usage mining_item_usage Turn on/off the ability to start mining/break blocks whilst using a item like in 1.7.
Hide Attached Fishing Rod Bobber hide_rod_bobber Turn on/off the rendering of the fishing rod bobber when attached to you in first-person.
Pick Inflation pick_inflation Turn on/off the 0.1 pick (hitbox) inflation when attacking an entity.
Old Sneak Height old_sneak_height Turn on/off the old hitbox/eye height size when sneaking like it was in <=1.8.
Client-Sided Entity Movement clientside_entities Turn on/off the entity movement calculations from the client. (In 1.7, entity movement was handled by the client)

Payloads

Allows the server to enable/disable server-only features that enhance gameplay.

General Changes

  • Reworked a lot of code & Moved a lot of it to Kotlin (kotlin da goat g)
  • Config setting names are more generalized
  • Scrapped the config data packet idea (no replacement)
  • All settings in the "Fixes" category now get disabled when you disable the mod "/animatium off"
  • Your onboarding/preset version will now be remembered
  • Decouple Fishing Rod Version from Item Positions setting
  • Moved "fixEquipAnimationItemCheck" to the "Items Category" and renamed it to "equipAnimationItemCheck"
    • This setting wasn't really a fix and should have been in the "Items Category" to begin with
    • Also, added logic to re-add the old item equip use on ground logic that was missing.
      • (Try placing a block under you, your hand will do the equip animation like it did in <=1.8.x)

Fixes

  • Fixed "Long Un-sneak" setting affecting vanilla sneaking when disabled
  • Fixed disabled widget text colors when using "Old Widget Hover Text Colors"
  • Fixed jittering when sneaking on slime blocks when "Bring back bobbing tilt" is enabled
  • Fixed mod not "requiring" YACL on launch
  • Fixed potential crash when using the 1.7 sneak animation
  • Fixed Damage tint not affecting blocks/items equipped in the head slot when they should be
  • Fixed onboarding showing if the screen was opened via commands and the game closed
  • Fixed "Hide Recipe Book" setting missing from config screen
  • Fixed "Old Block Mining Progress" doing nothing at all
  • Fixed sodium icon in Video Settings being broken

These were reasons as to why these were removed, in which being some were very much disliked and some can be done easily with a resource pack.

  • Simplified a ton of settings (Combined stuff like Sneaking Settings/Fishing Rod Version)

Server

  • Current config info is now sent inside the "info" payload (README for documentation)
  • Info payload now sends on server join instead of having to be requested, similar to how it originally was but better now
    • During PLAY (JOIN) state
  • Server Features is now read as a EnumSet. Old functionality still works for now.
